Now there may be legislation to ban iPods for commuters, basically because people are clueless??? What next?

Are too many people trying to get the government to step in and run everyone's lives because everyone has suddenly become too LAZY to take care of themselves? What ever happened to common sense?

Ok, rant over. Discuss amongst yourselves....

If we have to be tolerant of everyone, why shouldn't we be tolerant of right winged "nut jobs" like me? Why is it OK to attack my beliefs that homosexuality is wrong, but not the belief that homosexuality is OK?

cirucus Gatti featured Fat, Male, Sumo-Strippers who were rubbing eachothers behinds and in another act 1920s flapper dancers tore off their skirts and while wearing leotards that didnt cover their private areas, climbed up the ropes and spread open thier legs. Meanwhile, the circus anouncer sang "Come to the Cabaret". A Cabaret is an adult night club featuring Strippers. the whole thing was appalling.

I heard that in some places they make you display special license plates if you get done for DUI, even after a ban. I know it doesn't happen where I am - anybody know where it does? I've got court on Friday for a DUI.

What happens if you have a car that you drive but isn't yours?

She only provided one quote and that was from a luxury dealer. I asked for her to provide one more and she declined. I thought that it was fair to ask for another, especially a non-dealer as long as if it was a reputable company and if they warranted their work. I would PREFER 3 quotes, 2 from other shops other than a dealerships. She is telling me that I can take the estimate from the dealership and that the other locations would give me a bid with that information. Obviously, any shop would req to see the vehicle before they make themselves liable for any work. What can I require her to provide me with legally? And do I have to provide a rental car? Any advice would be helpful here. Thank you!

We had a snow storm last night. MY mother in law was on her way home, after sitting in traffic for five hours she decided to come to our house. She has a min pin she takes with her every where. She couldnt get home we were declared a level two snow emergency. This morning we were issued a eviction notice, because she had her dog with her. Our lease does say no tenent shall keep a pet. Is this a wrongful eviction. We have lived here one year with no prior problem from management.

My old landlord is taking me to court saying I owe a bunch of money which I don't, I have most of the receipts. He hired a lawyer who is just as crooked as he is and we took it to court where the landlord didn't show up twice and asked for a reschedule. I wasn't informed when the next court date was, so they went ahead and finalized everything and it went into favor of my landlord. It's been about a month now, is it too late for me to have anyone hear my side of the story and have it appealed?

A revolt against a national driver's license, begun in Maine last month, is quickly spreading to other states.

States must comply with the Real ID law by May 2008. If they do not, driver's licenses that fall short of Real ID standards cannot be used to board an airplane.

Which documents do i need to show to get it ? Where do i go ?

I work at a clothing store with a bunch of fake stuck up bitches. Just recently there was this entire investigation on these people that were stealing.(im the one who told on them).and then they were interrogated and they confessed & my name was never brought up by anyone until their "confession".me & those 3 girls dont even like eachother.they are really fake and they lie all the time & thats why we arent friends. But i didnt steal!!then just recently this 2 faced *****.(and I know who it is) is telling people she called home office and that i showed her the stolen items in my car!.umm really? the ***** has only been in my car once for 5 minutes.and that was in october. If my stealing was such a problem.and i really was stealing why didnt you tell a manager or home office then? Or are you lying cause i said you need to lose weight and your bangs are too long! under law can they fire me? even with the false allogations. or do they need tangible, physical proof? I need to know.im pissed!!

If you got the option of doing jailtime at the weekend is it worth it or does it just mean that the jail time goes on for much longer?

Back in court for a first DUI on Friday. Just wondering what people think of this - I have been looking for a job and have an offer but can't start until I know what's happening on Friday. Is it just for people who already have jobs and get short sentences or is it an option if they think you should get jail but see that your trying to get back on track.

I broke my parole by getting the DUI so I'm probably looking at going back for a good while but am just thinking about it. I know some people get it for DUI.
