No jail, but you can be sued for the money.

Try to set up a payment plan to pay them back.

You can't go to jail (unless you don't show up to court when there is an order for you to appear -- called a body attachment). But you can have a judgment against you and you bank account frozen and/or wages garnished. Try calling the company and working out a deal with them. Offer the 300 and make a payment plan to pay the rest

No. But creditors will hound you and it will damage your credit which in turn will make your life a living hell later.
