I assume you are referring to euthanasia as it is applied to human beings.
Not only do I support euthanasia, I have made every effort to make sure that, when my last song is sung, my last story told and I've seen my last sunset, those I love will take care that my last moments here will be worry-free, pain-free and free from care and conflict.
That said, I'd like to go out like the old Indians, left alone in the wild with nothing to prolong my earthly agony. This is my own personal choice, and I don't expect many to agree. After all, come next March I'll be seventy years old, and that's enough. If God grants me any time after that, I'll be eternally grateful, as long as I am no a burden to those around me.

No one wants to see anyone suffer. When there is no other choice but to live a life of pain and suffering, and there are no other options to consider other than just watching the person die in misery, then I support it.

However with that, I do not support it if a person is just wanting to die when there are many other medical or non-medical options they can try first that may help them.

I support rational people being able to decide when to end their life. It is not the decision of ANY one else... not you, not me, and most definitely not the government.

It doesn't make any sense to me that this isn't legal.
