I was sick for 2 days afterward with diarrhea and cramping and I threw up twice initially when I realized that the chicken was completely raw. I called a lawyer and he said no lawyer would take the case because I wasn't hospitalized or anything. Wendy's gave me my $5.48 back and apologized but that's it. What do you think?

I have sole custody of my two children The divorcce took place in Michigan where my ex still resides, I have moved myself and the children to Texas and we have lived here for close to 3 years. He has recently been ordered to pay child support and Is unhappy about this, so now he's filed a motion to modify custody, giving it to him. He has not shown any intrest in the kids until this point. I am frazzled and scared to lose my babies, though rationally I know his case is not strong and I have a good lawyer starting work here in Texas, I am just unsure about if we have jurisdiction here in Texas or does Michigan retain it?

is there somewhere in the law that if you get off from work in a certain time and have to return before 12 hours that your first hour should be time and a half? I close my store and have to open the next morning always returning before 12 hours and they pay me regular pay. is this legal?

I work for an elementary school as after school staff. It is part of federal work study. I was wondering if it was legal that the agency that runs the school has decided to pay the student workers only once a month? Does the U.S. or Illinois in particular have rules against a once a month pay period? Thank you in advance

I'm having trouble understanding this case. Another thing that caught my eye: Supposedly the fact that he disputed a traffic ticket makes him guilty. Since when are disabled people stripped of their rights to dispute criminal charges or traffic offenses against them?

I'm a little worried now because I am disabled and have a traffic ticket that I would like to dispute. If I dispute the traffic ticket I'm going to be charged with Felony Fraud because I have a disability, and disabled people aren't allowed to contest any violations?

Keep in mind that he did not distribute or produce the images. He just looked at some pics. Should the government be able to tell us what we can look at? Should these occurances be what we're focusing on in the war in Iraq or perhaps we should pay more attention to the soldiers who are killing families and civilians? I'm not for child porno, this is merely a thought provoking question that I'd like feedback on.

Even a person who didn't sign papers the last time they were there. We waited and waited we signed no papers upon arrival and when we started to leave they wanted papers signed for the triage, we never seen a doctor or anything, we quite simply got tired of waiting for someone to come to the room. There was never anyone to come to the room at all. We started to leave and they said we needed to sign papers and I refused, so that we could dispute it when we got a bill. The next time we need to go to this hospital, can they refuse service? Please support your answer. This is in Tennessee. Thank you, your help will be greatly appreciated.

In the local trains, some People get into First Class, even though the prices are a far cry from the Second Class prices.
I mean, we pay a lot more for the same ticket, but then again, wouldn't it be wrong to abuse these people?

If a person just crosses 18 years age, is that person automatically Emancipated? (That means his/her parents can no longer exert control over his/her career and social life)

Or, would the person have to necessarily go to court and get emancipated?

Why is it ok to go get drunk and stay that way for an entire night, but you can't go get blitzed with your friends and be high for 3 hours? I personally think our country is making a mistake by not legalizing weed because it is the #1 cash crop in america right now. Do you know how much money the gov. could get of taxes put on the selling and distribution of pot? ALOT!

My friend is married to a women who was formally an illegal imigrant. They had a child and now she is threatening to leave the country with there baby. He is way against this and putting up with alot of abuse to make sure she doesnt leave. What rights does she have to leave and what rights does he have to keep his child in the country with him? Basicly can she just up and leave the countrty with there baby and what can he do to insure this doesnt happen?

I was at the food store and I was constipating buy chapstick/lip gloss and I guess it looked like I put it in my bag.. well I didnt..20 mins later, i was paying for my food and trying to leave and some woman was waiting for me and said "come with me" and we went to the back room and the guy shut the door and was like "give us back our merchindise"well i was sooo confused! And the woman was like "WATCH THE TAPE", while we were watching it she was going through my bag...
so she realized from the tape I didnt steal, I put it back...
and then they were apologizing and offering me a gift card...
well I didnt take one I was shaking too much and crying..
well I called my lawer friend who said this is illeagal and told me to sue. I called the cops and they said it was illegal to detain someone who didn't steal..
but I don't want to sue them. i just want to forget it... but my lawyer friend said to sue....

according to my contract I was finished paying for the car.When I contacted him about my title thats when he said I owed $758.00 in finance charges that was on a separate contract.I told him I knew nothing of any such contract.he has not showed me any such contract but he has the repo man callin my daughter and I saying he is gonna obtain a warrant for my arrest.Are these people legit in their actions?

I'm sorry, but I have this querk about telephone sales that keep on calling me on my cell phone. to whom ever does this job, please I mean no disrespect, I've done the job myself. Not only is it irratatting, it gets expensive,and to top it off .....they are long distance here in Canada! coming from heavens any where. does anyone know if there is a law against this?

When I was growing up, not that long ago, I was REQUIRED to say The Pledge of Allegiance to "One nation UNDER God!" So, I am posting the question again in order to prove my point that my answer was valid. Anyone who disagrees, has to be merely an atheistic anti-American moron! The day the United States thinks it is above God or can BE God, is the day you and this government has lost all sense of reality, reasoning and true American values! If God was put back in the schools, and mind you, I do not care in the least what the laws say, the country will be better off for it and so will our children. This country was founded and built on these very principles and you can kill me or sue me or imprison me in your machine worshipping game all you want and I will still feel the same way. :P

And now I cannot get a job :( Because these charges cannot be expunged in my state they stay with me forever even though there is no conviction and they were dropped but employers see the arrests and charges on my record when they do background checks and won't hire me. How can I get fairness in the workplace?

a it will just be another way to make money on tax
b it does cause depression along with other mental illness proven fact do Ur research
c it changes a persons personality i have mates who take it who are now slower more absent minded and spaced out all the time
d it changes your appearance makes u look like a smack head in the long run
e has been proven to lead on to harder drugs
f if it was as good for medical reasons as u say it would be readily available on GP prescription
