You asked this question a couple days ago. I responded "God." My answer was reported in violation of cimmunity values as gaming and 11 points was taken from my score. Well, the answer is valid! When I was growing up, not that long ago, I was REQUIRED to say The Pledge of Allegiance to "One nation UNDER God!" So, I am posting the question again in order to prove my point that my answer was valid. Anyone who disagrees, has to be merely an atheistic anti-American moron! The day the United States thinks it is above God or can BE God, is the day you and this government has lost all sense of reality, reasoning and true American values! If God was put back in the schools, and mind you, I do not care in the least what the laws say, the country will be better off for it and so will our children. This country was founded and built on these very principles and you can kill me or sue me or imprison me in your machine worshipping game all you want and I will still feel the same way. :P

I will feel this way to my very last dying breath just as my lifelong father, a career United States Marine did when he fought and gave his entire life for this country! God is what is missing from the current educational system in America! Not your TV enslavement self glorifying video game God, the real super natural creator of the universe, GOD and just like my father, I will fight for that notion to my last breath. Period. Say what you will. You'll never change my mind. Ever!

And just to show who's doing this to me and us, I posted this question in the educational category but when submitted, it somehow landed in the Law and Ethics category twice now.

Well since "God" is ambigous, He can be anything, even a She to some, does it matter? freedom of religion means we have no place dictating what others believe, and especially not using teh government to educate. BUT they have no place pushing one faith system on people for "understanding" while condemning another, and I believe in the voucher system, so peoiple can choose their child's education. As long as they reward bad schools with more money, refuse to annually test teachers, and give them tenure so that not even sexual misconduct with minors gets them fired, private schools and even religous schools are a viable option. And you are right, no one should have violated your freedom of speech by "reporting" you as a violation, that is a sign of infantile behaviour when they can't come up with a better arguement or answer. I don't attack questioner's either, just not good ethics. I find it pretty hard to ask a question and get a serious, thoughtful answer.

I know that this is a hot point, but I don't believe god in or out has anything to do with it. In my school we said the pledge of allegiance and I did it and I was proud of it, not the point. There were bible groups and clubs. People prayed with persecution or sugregation in my school. Not the Point.
The key missing component to education is exactly that: EDUCATION.
It isn't the teachers fault, nor the students, but everyone's subconscious agreement that K-12 is nothing more than taxpayer provided day care for kids.
If people truly cared about education there would not be standardized testing, not everyone learns the same. Schools would all resecieve funding on population, not "achievement." You can teach a horse to count, but it has no clue what the hell it is doing.
I could go on, but I think my point is made. And people fighting over symantics when it should be as simple as personal church not school law whether one participates in something they may or may not feel personally offensive.
Also, parents need to let their children think for themselves, I assure everyone that they are in fact capable of such a feat.
Have a Great Day.

The Bible tells me to train up my children in the way they should go. To me that means either place them in a public school that teaches the Bible and all it's principles (in this country, that happened in the past, but will never be again) or place them in a school that does, or home school them.
God is missing in the hearts of Americans. For us to try to get unbelievers (teachers unions, etc) to "act" Christian and teach our children a watered down form of the gospel is foolishness.
The solution is this - do away with public education in America. Let each parent pick up their God given responsibility of training up their own children. Some will form groups and teach from a biblical perspective (my daughter goes to a Christian school), others will form groups and teach from an atheistic slant - teaching evolution as if it were fact. Still others would teach their children to be racist or drug users or whatever their own values are.
I DO NOT BLAME TEACHERS FOR THIS PROBLEM. Our society has placed the "responsibility" of how the kids turn out on the teachers' backs - but we've taken away ALL their authority to discipline. That model never has and never will succeed.
I could go on for hours on this topic, but won't.

We need better students.
Saying the pledge will not improve the schools or make students smarter, just better trained rats to manipulate into war.
War is bad, didn't your school teach you that?
Worshiping a cross will not make our students smarter or try harder. It will only make them humble and less resourceful. You cannot pray your way to success.
It takes brains and hard work to learn and teachers who will teach the truth, not propaganda.
God is something to learn about in non-public supported churches of faithful believers. Not drilled into your brain by your school or the government at mandatory classes. Jesus wants you to use your Free Will to accept him. Not be bullied or brainwashed into it from a young age by the government sponsored schools. God does not want that kind of recruit in heaven.
Choosing a religion or not is an adult decision to be made by educated adults, not little kids that will believe anything they are told. That is what Sunday school is for.
Force your own children to learn whatever you want but leave other kids to their parents wishes. That is what freedom is all about. Free will, free speech.

So, reading through your explanation and comments, your theory is that there's a vast conspiracy by someone or some group of people to keep mentions of God from being posted in the Education category?
