Yes they have actually... yahoo was in a lawsuit several years ago for libel and slander due to the yahoo groups and a "hate group" that they allowed to stay on. I dont remember the excat case but if you look it up on google you will find it. They have actually been sued several times though..... I'll put a couple other links here too...

Not that I'm aware of, but I'd like to be on line for that. They closed my account and refuse to tell me why. I lost all of my e-mails and points on Yahoo Answers.
