according to my contract I was finished paying for the car.When I contacted him about my title thats when he said I owed $758.00 in finance charges that was on a separate contract.I told him I knew nothing of any such contract.he has not showed me any such contract but he has the repo man callin my daughter and I saying he is gonna obtain a warrant for my arrest.Are these people legit in their actions?

Contact said person by certified mail demanding a copy of said contract, also state that unless they can provide said copy they are to stop contacting you.

The "arrest" claim is BS. Start recording these calls, they may prove useful, even if you did sign a contract. While they can certainly pursue you to collect a legal debt. The US has no such thing as a debtors prison.

Debt is a civil matter, not criminal, so I don't think so.
Maybe you need to contact an ombudsman to help straighten this out.

let him take you to court, then he will have to produce the documents as evidence, you cant be arrested unless you wrote him a bad check or something. unless you left something out of your story.
