Hi I joined an online university back in Jan. 06'. My husband received military orders to Japan; I had to go with him. I notified the school that I would need to 'drop out' since I would not have internet access. They told me to provide them with my husbands’ military orders and marriage certificate by fax and they would be able to credit the term with out drop fees. I faxed the documents. September 06' comes, and there’s a charge of $3,460 on my student loan account. They never applied the credit. I made complaint to the Better Business Bureau on Sept. 21, 2006. I explained how I did not feel the education method was for me with sporadic moves, and how they basically provide you with text books, tell you to read, and give you writing assignments. I can get the same education at a local library without the $3,460 charge. Before I began I was told by financial aid that my total out of pocket expense for the 2 years would only be $6,000. However, I was charged $3,460 just for 1 semester

At her church, it seems that doing what the pastor wants is more important that God's calls to duties in various walks of life. When they're in conflict who do you listen to?

If after they finished school, they served the community for 3 years. We would have to pay them lets say $60,000 a year for their services, but they would supply the poor, help with medical dental and law services for 3 years. Your thoughts and suggestions.

What are the legal aspects of this in regards to dog containment. My neighbor has no fenced yard and on occasions he has let his dog crap on my yard and im sick of it. The dog also pisses in my bushes. Ive tried to talk to him about it but he told me ive got problems, if thats all im worried about.

I've also seen his dog(Irish Setter) without a leash running around the yard, and wandering in my yard.

Can the police do anything or is it a waste of my time to notify them? What legally can I do?

Thank you

Do I have the legal right to contest my foster Mothers will?
I have been raised by a foster family since age three...I now care for the foster mother and live with her to that end...She has one other child by birth....I am considered a member of the family by all including family friends and church members.

At the time of mother's death, her real son will be named executor of her estate...He is said to inherit the whole of the estate, and if he does not survive to inherit, his wife receives one third and the rest is to be equally divided amongst her grand children.

I would like to know, since I was never legally adopted, but I was raised by them, do I have a right, or even stand a chance, at contesting the will?

I know what the will says and according to it I was not named as a Son or even a child...Rather I was named as a friend, and in the event of my brothers death before Mother should go, I would only receive a share with the three grand children.

Do I have grounds as a foster Son to contest?

I have known many soldiers who have been in Fallujha, Bahgdad, and other parts of Iraq and they have seen up close and personal the daily lives of the Iraqis and how they support the soldiers. Why is it that we as Americans do not belive in what is going on and our soldiers? Weither we like it or not, we are the police of the world and you tell me, if you see your neighbor dragging his wife and kids through your neighborhood and beating them, would you stand there in your window watching, go out there and fight him, or close your blinds? President Bush is doin exactly what is right for Iraq and us. If that same neighbor threatens to come after you after he's done with his family, would you allow him into your home or would you go out there and fight him and keep him away from your family? Now understand that your neighbor is Saddam, Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda, and his family is the Ir

JOE ARPAIO IS THE MARICOPA COUNTY SHERIFF (ARIZONA) AND HE KEEPS GETTING ELECTED OVER AND OVER AGAIN.These are some of the reasons why:
Sheriff Joe Arpaio created the 'tent city jail' to save Arizona from spending tens of million of dollars on another expensive prison complex.
He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.
He banned smoking and porn magazines in the jails, took away their weightlifting equipment and cut off all but 'G' movies. He says: 'They're in jail to pay a debt to society not to build muscles so they can assault innocent people when they leave.'
He started chain gangs to use the inmates to do free work on county and city projects and save taxpayer's money.
He cut off coffee because it has zero nutritional value and is therefore a waste of taxpayer money. When the inmates complained, he told them: 'This isn't the Ritz/Carlton. If you don't like it, don't come back.
Your opinions please.

I do not know the ins and outs of the case but in my opinion he has been on death row for twenty years now has the man not suffered enough ?? If he had received a life sentence here in the UK he would be a free man by now . I only think this because of the new evidence which if true makes ths man innocent , what do you think ?

why don`t we hang all the paedophiles and rapists ? I know some say they have an illness but when they`re released most re-offend , so in my opinion they are incurable and whilst they are in prison its out taxes that keep them fed and watered , i`d rather my hard earned cash went elsewhere . I am sure there are many thousands of these scumballs in prison and if they weren`t the prisons wouldn`t be overcrowded ..What do you think ??

I am not a bad person but i have been at the hands of one of these many years ago :(

I signed one with an online real estate school/corp. then my situation changed in just about every way you could think of. I needed out. I need the money paid refunded and the charges on the credit card cleared. I'm overdrawn at the bank, needing to move, self- employed but looking. I really don't think I can handle more in my life now. I had only been signed up for about a week when I requested a termination. They refused. When I explained the situation they said "they couldn't refund, because I might be lying to them." I had just about backed out within the 72 hours too. They are really persuasive. Just signing with out checking, espicially for a huge expense is not me, but I had also not slept in about 3 days. Can anyone throw me a rope? I need out of this hole I dug! Thanks

What was your experience? Is it always in favor of the lady? How can you become free from a woman who is mean and cruel and you haven't talked to her in 3 years but she won't leave and just makes threats!? Already talked to a lawyer...he was not clear...I am looking for people to share their personal stories to give me some ideas so if I go to lawyer again, I can see if these ideas will work for me. I don't want my family to be hurt by this woman - she keep us prisoner in our house - not even her place...but if we ask her to leave she threatens us...not sure what to do.

I was just wondering why are people with dogs not understanding to other people feelings. Like the other day I was coming into my house and one of the neighbor had 2 pitbulls loose playing around while he was talking to friends. Now me I am terrified of dogs especially big dogs. I tried to act like I wasn't sfraid but when I saw the dog running up to me I had to go the other way.

Why do people do that? They act as if everyone like dogs and no one are afraid of them when in reality people are? I really hate big dogs I can't stand them. I had a bad experience when i was younger. I didn't get bitten but I am scarred by it. I understand people like them but I feel show some respect for others have your dog on a lease. Isn't that a law or something?
We had a problem like that once before but there were stry dogs running around my neighborhood and they took care of it. All I want is for them to be more considerate of others. What can I do? To tell you the truth I was about to call the cop

About 2 weeks ago i took my car into a shop to have it looked at and fixed because it was over heating. After looking at my car over a 2 days they told me that it was the water pump and thermostat. they fix it and it cost me about 500$ i go pick it up and wasn't even home when it started it agian only this time it was different. On my receipt it says the they test drove my car and everything was ok.(which i assume means there is nothing else wrong with my car)I take it back and they keep it for 3 more days. They then tell me that it is the radiator cap. I go pick it up agian and they tell me they test drove it and everything was ok. I didn't even drive it an hour before it started to do the same thing. i take it back then and they tell me that it is the thermostat. after that repair agian the test drove speech. I had my car no more than 24 hrs and it began to over heat agian. took it back and 3 more days they tell me it has cracked head

Is it illegal to keep the police lights (both spotlights and the color bar on top) installed? I am thinking of buying one and I thought it would be neat to just keep it there to scare people.. Would I get in trouble for looking like a real police car without stickers?

Thanks
