Star spangled banner sums it up for me in it's lasts line. "The home of the free and the brave." With out the freedoms our constitution affords us then we stop being America! For the terrorist to win there doesn't have to be any blood shed. What's more American then the constitution?? Nothing! If we give up our freedoms in the name of security then the terrorist win. They would have succeeded in braking the very core of America the constitution!

He who gives up his freedom the achieve security deserves neither, and soon will have neither. There is no security in this sinful world, and if the present trends in "homeland security" continue, there soon will also be no freedom.

Freedom each and each of ways! Freedom comes with duty...and that is going for: no longer sticking a piping warm cup of espresso between your legs, taking time to self-discipline and truly pay interest on your babies, and it skill no longer blaming actually everyone else on your man or woman goddamned problems! Freedom skill that truly everyone seems to be watchful, and in the event that they are able to't beat down a suspected bomber on their own, they could desire to call somebody who can. Freedom skill that truly everyone seems to be at liberty to worship as they choose and convey their ideals, as long as they do no longer infringe on somebody else's existence, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness. Freedom skill having the flexibility to talk your ideas, and not subject approximately being "Politically splendid." i've got not got self assurance we could desire to consistently be fearful of terrorism. we could desire to consistently be watchful, yet no longer living in worry. If we save working to the federal government everytime we are afraid or have a topic, they're merely going to legislate all of our rights away. be attentive to that.

As one of our Founding Fathers said - not sure who it was, either Jefferson or Franklin - "He who sacrifices freedom for security deserves neither."
I would choose freedom, hands down, and thanks to the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution, I can provide my own security, thank you.

security in the home by a mile,
Norms arent necessarily a bad thing despite what the subcultures preach.
Norms prevent many many dangers.
For instance,
apparent sexual conformaty means nothing weird flying around the place.
Apparent sexual freedom on the other hand can mask many dangers, and i dont mean disease i mean sexual preditors.
