I signed one with an online real estate school/corp. then my situation changed in just about every way you could think of. I needed out. I need the money paid refunded and the charges on the credit card cleared. I'm overdrawn at the bank, needing to move, self- employed but looking. I really don't think I can handle more in my life now. I had only been signed up for about a week when I requested a termination. They refused. When I explained the situation they said "they couldn't refund, because I might be lying to them." I had just about backed out within the 72 hours too. They are really persuasive. Just signing with out checking, espicially for a huge expense is not me, but I had also not slept in about 3 days. Can anyone throw me a rope? I need out of this hole I dug! Thanks

I need to see a copy of the contract, in order to determine if you have grounds for a refund of part or all of your fees.

If the wording on the contract is vague or misleading, these may be grounds for rescission of the contract.

If you believe you have grounds for disputing the fees, you can contact your credit card company, and fill out a dispute form.

Just a caveat: do not sign contracts when you have not slept for 3 days. BTW, why were you awake for so long...?

use your current situation to be a thorn in their side( you will have to figure out how) do their course and catch them in a contract violation and take them to small claims every-time. After about 10 of these judgments you will be that pain in the ASSS they would rather not have. you are going to have to be smart , find out the cost of small claims in their area. hope this helps.

To end all your mysries in an instant you can either go do bungee jumping without a cord, do sky diving without a parachute, or scooba diving without oxygen. It works all the time.

Getting back money is problematic, but you don't have to pay them any more. Talk to your banker for advice.
