why don`t we hang all the paedophiles and rapists ? I know some say they have an illness but when they`re released most re-offend , so in my opinion they are incurable and whilst they are in prison its out taxes that keep them fed and watered , i`d rather my hard earned cash went elsewhere . I am sure there are many thousands of these scumballs in prison and if they weren`t the prisons wouldn`t be overcrowded ..What do you think ??
I am not a bad person but i have been at the hands of one of these many years ago :(

Did anyone realize that if 2 teens have sex, one 17 and one 18, the 18year old will go to jail as a sex offender. This person will be labeled a sex offender for the rest of his or her life.Twenty years ago the parents would punish the kids by grounding or give the girl birth control. Now the legal system has taken the power from the family and labeled a non-criminal offense as criminal.

We could do that but some are Innocent of the charges...are you going to hang some one on just the word of another without any corroborating evidence some people are forced to cop a plea... i know of at least one that was railroaded and i would not want his blood on my hands... its called due proses!
Betty you are one twisted person but you know it's all good...

I invite you to read "The Secret of Bryn Estyn" by Richard Webster.
If you live in the UK, we have developed, belatedly, beyond a position where the state kills its own citizens in the name of justice, precisely because too many innocent people, "proved" quilty "beyond any reasonable doubt" in courts of law, and following appeals etc., were murdered. It would be folly to go back to that situation, and kill more innocent people, specially for such a nonsensical reason as creating space in prisons.
Questions I keep asking here, in response to silliness like this, is "How, exactly, do you compensate the person you wrongly convicted and killed, for his death at the hands of the state? How do you reinstate his former place in society after you have buried him? How do you apologise to his grieving family and friends?"
Personally I would send you, and your like minded friends around to his/her grieving widow and children to explain that "sometimes it all goes wrong, and we kill the wrong person".

I would agree but with our present day court system, I would also have to agree with adkeziah, in that there are alot of men that are accused of this crime that are innocent. I work in law enforcement and had to testify at a trial where a man was accused of molesting his daughter. Four trials, almost a hundred thousand in expenses he went bankrupt and plea bargained out, so that he got probation and he is now on the sex offenders list. I thought he was innocent, so did his other two daughters that stated in court that their sister was mad at him for catching her drinking at a party. The court said that their testimony was here-say and didn't allow it in front of the jury. The Prosecutor knew he was innocent, but it made good headlines, so there went his life! Now for those that admit it. Kill them now and do it fast

It will never happen. I've been a correctional officer for many years and people who have never actually been inside a prison, and have only seen the crap portrayed on TV, would not believe how many rights these criminals have. They have more rights than those of us working here.

Alright, stop and think about it. Do you not think that some of these men, accused of this are innocent? You have people who cry rape all of the time just to get back at someone because they are angry. This is a crime you can't prove happened but, can't prove it didn't and a large majority of these men are innocent because, of a vendetta against them. What if we hang innocent men?
