How are bars legal, most people drink at bars, how do they get home? I understand if you have a designated driver, but that's rarely the case. Taxis are over an hour away here. Almost everyone that goes to a bar is looking to get trashed(maybe it is only that way here where I live, mostly a bunch of low life alcoholics and druggies) so why do cops not watch people who leave the bar. Why do they not make the person who says they are driving take a breath elizer(can't spell it, sorry)before they leave? It's not worth someones life just to have a few drinks and go home, if you want to play pool, get a pool table, or if you want to hang out with friends and drink, why not camp out together so you can all drink and not have to worry about going home or driving..It frustrates me how bars are perfectly legal, our state is zero tolerance, so one drink is considered illegal, like the ad says, buzzed driving is drunk driving...If the government prohibits brothels and such they can control a bar.

15 IS THE AGE FOR ILLEAGL SEX, BUT IF YOUR 16 OR ABOVE IT's LEGAL. SO HERES MY STORY: My friend he's 30, and he's my boyfriend, we've been dating for about 4 months. I don't know how they put him in jail that night they have to set a hearing, but I know he didn't do it, positivethe problem is, I have a friend whos friend is also 16 and she got pissed off at her boyfriend so she told him she was ******* around with the one guy which was my friend, he got jealous and told his friends who told her mother, who told the cops, this is the second night in jail, I just found out today when I got no call from him yesterday because he always calls me I knew something was wrong. His bond is 50,000 dollars straight up, If she is 16 then could he get in alot of trouble? I'm 16, and I'm his girlfriend, and I know it's not true that they were messing around because whenever he's not working he's with me, when he gets his schedule he tells me so I know he's not lying. I'm young but I really do likehim

my daughter has a baby out of wedlock. The baby is currently on medicade by requires numerous medical proceedures. There are more and more doctors not accepting medicade. I suggested that her father(whom she lives with) get legal guardianship of the child and carry the baby on his insurance. What is the definition of guardianship, and is there any other way to accomplish this. The biological father is not too happy about this, even though my X supports all of them.

My employer gives me a "time limit" for restroom use for each day of 10 mins. The bathroom is far away, and it takes 4-5 mins round trip to get there and back. I am talking nonstop all day, and need to drink a lot of fluids to keep from losing my voice. Its also freezing in there, so I have to go a lot. Lately, they have been harrassing me abou it.. asking me WHAT I am doing in there, why certain trips taking longer (ummm...), and telling me it is "company policy". They say I need a doctors note, but I dont have a medical condition, I always drink a lot of water, and I dont consider my restroom use excessive. Who are they to determine what "excessive" use is? I know they are in the wrong, or they would have fired me by now. I checked some things on the OSHA website, but its not detailed enough. It only says employees are entitled "resonable" use, but does not indicate what that is, and I know they will point that out if I show them.

Can they legally do this? What can I do??

story:

im a truck driver and i live in the truck about 28 days of the month. the mechanics noticed that i had installed a power inverter in my truck (which is apparantly against company policy) and they took pictures and sent them to my boss. what im concerned about is that underneath the bunk of my truck is a storage space and mine is messy. im paranoid that they may have also taken a picture of the storage area underneath my bunk to somehow strengthen their case about the power inverter.

so, is it illegal for them to take pictures of the stuff under my bunk in that storage area?

They put a restriction on my line on Wednesday the 10th because of late bill payment. I then rang them up and paid same day with a debit card and was told the restriction was got to be unactivated in an hour-24hrs. However today is Saturday and my line is still restricted. I have called them several times , 2 hours a day since the restriction(customer service is appauling). But what has been happening is every time someone rings my phone and there is no answer, it the goes to play them the Talk Talk message in qoutes

"Thank u for calling Talk Talk. Please be advised a restriction has been placed on this line. To lift the restiction please have your card details ready and provide the information we request"

They have accepted responsibilty but have not done anything to rectify the problem. This is causing me distress big time. Is there any way I can sue this company. Any law? re data protection. Shld they be playing that message to third parties after all i have paid my bill.

We lived together when I got pregnant so he knew. He left me when I was 7 months preg and I just did it alone....My son cant just be forced to go with a stranger can he??

i bought a trick and they gave me three months garentee on the fuel pump. of courser it broke downwhen the used car dealer was out of town, so i had the truck towed to the chevy dealer and had it fixed , afterwordes i took the billed car dealer that i got the truck from and when he saw that the chevy dealer charged 1007.12 to fix it he refused to pay the fee.nagating the warentee that he gave me,however he offered to pay me a price that he said that he could get for an oafter market part, whitch wasn't 1/3 what i paid for a gm part. then he refused the labor saying that an employee of his would have cost him a lesser paid wage than that of the dealers price. i asked if his employee wAS CERTIFIED AS A MECHANIC and he said no. in order to stay within profesional ethics shouldnt you send something to a dealer have tit fixed then request re embursment .i should also state that ther was only the agreement that he would garentee the part and no stipulation as to who would fix it .

I recently finished building a house and sold it to another person. I am not the builder, but I was the investor and owner of the home. My question is this: Once I have sold it, can the builder or other subcontractors place a lien on the house? And if so, what good does it do if I have already sold it? Aren't they just hurting the new owners? I have paid my builder in full -- but I am afraid he is not paying his subcontractors and therefore they could place liens. Just want to know what possible liability I have, even after the sale. I wouldreally appreciate advice from builders, other investors, and attornerys. Thanks!
