i have been charged for someone else living in my old apartment,how long does it take to resolve the issue,on my report has " county clerk" does that mean there was a court date that i may have missed,could it be too late to dispute it?

11,500 arrears works out to be 958 years. It would not take a rocket scientist to figure out that there was something cock-eyed somewhere. You don't dispute credit reports in Court. They are disputed with the credit reporting Agency. That Agency should expunge that record and notify the other Agencies that there was a terrible mistake.

do you have documents of your date of leaving your apartment or end of lease papers with a return of deposit because of approved inspection.if you do the owners of the apartment complex would report this to the credit reporters and have it removed.
