15 IS THE AGE FOR ILLEAGL SEX, BUT IF YOUR 16 OR ABOVE IT's LEGAL. SO HERES MY STORY: My friend he's 30, and he's my boyfriend, we've been dating for about 4 months. I don't know how they put him in jail that night they have to set a hearing, but I know he didn't do it, positivethe problem is, I have a friend whos friend is also 16 and she got pissed off at her boyfriend so she told him she was ******* around with the one guy which was my friend, he got jealous and told his friends who told her mother, who told the cops, this is the second night in jail, I just found out today when I got no call from him yesterday because he always calls me I knew something was wrong. His bond is 50,000 dollars straight up, If she is 16 then could he get in alot of trouble? I'm 16, and I'm his girlfriend, and I know it's not true that they were messing around because whenever he's not working he's with me, when he gets his schedule he tells me so I know he's not lying. It is not normal for a girl your age to be with a man his age. It doesn't surprise me to find out that you were sexually abused because I was sexually abused also and chose for my first few relationships men that had similar characteristics to the man that abused me. I would never call you a slut or anything. But I do think you should get some counseling. Not because I am judging you or anyone else for that matter but because you deserve to be free from your past and be able to get what you really want, instead of what the abuse drives you to attain. Even if you don't realize this now, I hope you do someday. You sound like a wonderful girl with a wonderful heart. Good luck to you no matter what.

I'm not entirely sure what the question is....
I will say this though..a thirty year old man having carnal knowledge of a minor (younger than 18) is indeed a felony in most states...and the authorities will take things like that very seriously..especially if the parents of the minor child wish to prosecute. This man could face jail time, large fines, and being registered in the National Sexual Offender Database.
