I suffer PTSD as a result of an incident of workplace bullying, which amounted to deliberate psychological torture. As a consequence I am unable to work.

In 2 years I have made 4 benefit applications, all of which have been refused, basically because the people deciding the application are not competent to understand psychopathological evidence.

Their latest "judgement" insinuates that:
1) the report of a specialist - stating a) that I suffer PTSD and b) that the PTSD was caused by the incident - is not genuine. This despite the report containing the contact details of the therapist who conducted the examination & drafted the original report. They have not bothered to check this out, but have merely their opinion that the report is not genuine & by insinuation that I am a liar.
2) they refer to me as mentally ill. There is a difference between illness & injury.

I suffer financially as a result of their written & signed opinion. Could I successfully sue them for Libel?

Ok, well it's kind of a long story....but

I'm 19 years old

My ex girlfriend whom I broke up with a few months ago is causing some trouble. She is still in love with me, even though I have moved on and I am now currently in a new relationship. Tonight, she got drunk with some of her new friends and kept calling my cell phone and bothering me. I was also at a party tonight (more like a gathering of friends) of which my new g/f attended. Well my ex g/f knows my new girlfriend's cell phone number (long story on that one) and called her up (and this was after my new g/f left the party). My ex g/f called my new g/f names and then asked to speak with me. But of course I wasn't there because my new g/f was at home. So my new g/f called me up telling me that some girl is calling her and asking to speak with me. I was infuriated. I called up my ex and basically let her have it.
Another note: my ex has been following cars that leave my driveway...she followed my brothers friend the other day

I read articles and watched the news, but the oldest one that has been abducted for 4 1/2 years isn't that alittle weird and seems like the boy didn't care about running away? Don't say he feared trying to escape within the whole 4 1/2 yrs because he had many opportunities. So, what you think?

Question: What should we do to free our planet from terrorism?

Question Details: Not to sound cruel, but I'm certainly not going to pay lip service to anyone. If there was an answer to your question we wouldn't be dealing with our troops fighting over what two grown adults can't come to an agreement upon. The problem is more of us need to compromise or just let bygones be bygones. Unfortunately, the onus of any type of disaster is automatically put on our leaders heads. No matter what we do there is always going to be a difference of opinion and that is a huge problem. Too many people can't deal with that and that's where it stems from. We can't force one way of living on a different society. World peace is a complete pipe dream.

my girlfriend was deleted for posting this answer, but we have no idea as to what part of the guidelines she has broken. Can anyone enlighten us as to how she broke the rules? Or is the website merely censoring anybody speaking against the iraq war?

It seems to me that it is a victimless crime. If I can pay someone to clean my human waste from my septic tank, why can't I pay someone for sexual satisfaction?

Before I shell out a bunch of money for a lawyer, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me about making a legal and binding video will under Canadian law.

Do I need witnesses?

Do I need to authenticate the video in some way?

Who do I need to give copies to?

If you have any information on this topic, that would be great! I'd just like to have some information or ideas before consulting a lawyer (which I fully intend to do!). Thanks.

My mother is receiving physical therapy from Asian Amerian Home Care Inc. in San Jose, Ca her therapist becomes very paranoid when we record the session, as her Primary Care Physcian has prescribed that we do for her mental excercises. We have explained this to him yet he refuses to continue the session if we continue to record, even when he is completely aware the he is not being recorded. He has threatend to stop the therapy if he sees a camera and close my mothers case. Can he legally do this? or am I in my legal right to record my mothers therapy sessions, without his image in the video. Is it legal for him to threatend to close my mothers case based on this. I am concerned because of his paranoia, that maybe he might be wanted by the law or he may be running from something in his past. He totally FREAKS when he sees my video recorder. He he is from Romania. I don't know , But I'm concerned, and I want to know what I should do and what is my legal right to do?

An accused person will be held in jail until the trial. The prosecutor (DA) will not investigate any facts, but changes the charges as the story of the accuser changes. Polygraph exams are thrown out if the accused person passes them but will be used against the accused if they don't pass them. The DA represents the 'people'...don't the people have the right to proceed with all the facts known rather than using 'witch-hunt' tactics?
