YES

We lived in a democracy the last time i checked. Bush has gone against the grain of what the population has desired for way too long now. If the us was a democracy to its name, being a government for the people and by the people he would not have needed to be impeached, he would of changed his course or stepped down. He should have tried to save face. Because of his actions this country is in more debt than ever and the whole of the republican party is going down. Ha, good move bush, you just became the greatest gift that the Democratic party has ever received. And thanks for leaving the pay check to my generation.

No president has ever been impeached though Nixon would have been if he had not resigned, as did his first vice-president, Spiro Agnew!!

Clinton was tried but they did not have enough votes to impeach him!

Bush should have been impeached long ago but that was never an issue as the Republicans held the House and the Senate!

You would find it much harder to amend the constitution than it would be to Impeach. If a crime were committed or suspected then impeachment could be instituted. The party that brings charges will come under heavy retribution in the next elections if the charges are frivolous.

Not just impeached. Tried. Convicted. Executed.

Just be sure it's done in accordance with the law; we wouldn't want an unfair trial where defence lawyers are murdered or a military tribunal without a fair presentation of evidence. Worse still, we wouldn't want to see Bush tortured and "evidence" gained to be used against him, would we?

Not unless it was absolutely necessary, of course. Then again, Bush thinks it's absolutely necessary, so why not?

I don't think you have grounds to start an impeachment process against your president.
Perhaps a recall vote might be in order. That worked in California when they voted Gray Davis out of office back in 2003.

no he should not be impeached he did nothing to get impeached. plus the congress are the only people that can impeach President Bush not us. It wasnt his fault that havoc occured. it is Sadam he decided that he was going to hurt his own people and try to get the UNited States. We had to go and help those people and stop Sadam from killing his people and other foreign people. Bush did the right thing to get involed in Iraq

If you think "recall" or "no confidence" legislation would help you are mistaken.

Every politician has to make tough or unpopular decisions.

Even Kennedy and Reagan went through periods when their popularity fell to 30% but are now regarded as great Presidents.

Allowing recall legislation would result in every leader simply refusing to make an unpopular decision. That isn't leadership.

When people re-elected Bush in 2004 they knew his policy on Iraq wouldn't change. You elected him for 4 years and you should give him 4 years to implement his policies.

Choosing leadership isn't like buying a t-shirt from KMART - you can't take it back on a whim because you decided you made a mistake.

Yes I would love this. The same goes for senator and reps. IF we don't like the job they are doing we can remove em midterm.

Congress isn't going to impeach bush, they are in cahoots with him.

sadly the only thing he did that is an impeachable defense is that he lied to congress. Everyone lies to congress, even Barry Bonds.

what would you impeach him for? By the way, stupidity is not an impeachable offense.
