(this is for a novel i'm writing)

say you are 17-years old and your father runs over a guy. your father flees from the scene because he does not want to get into trouble. the man he hit dies. your father is captured in a week. basically he is a criminal. but you are in high school. you dont really want anyone to know that your dad is a criminal (even tho must people must have already read it in the papers, some might not notice). Are you allowed to register to the school with a different last name? (and.. would you be forced to move to another area?)

I don't have a drivers license because I'm an epileptic & I don't ever want one. Granted my seizures could be under control but if I'm on a highway doing 65 & a seizure comes I could destroy a whole familys lives not to mention my own. But my uncle is a drinker & he was too drunk to drive home one night so he asked me to drive his car. Of course I didn't I called him a cab but how much trouble does someone get in if they're caught driving but has never had a license? Is it as worse as drunk driving?

my brother who is 19 years old and still lives with us.heapplied for a loanbut he forged my dad's signature .at the time my dad was in the hospital and trusted him with all his information,so that my brother can pay the bills, but my brother misused the trust and applied for a loan in the form of student aid. the loans totaling about $15000. by the time my dad got out of the hospital and figured out it was too late. the loan had been apporved, and it was either my dad accepts it or my brother goes to jail. my dad decided to forgive him on the condition that my brother would never do such a thing again. but now my brother repeated the same thing, and he even got in a car acciedent that would cost $5,500 to repair. My brother now tells us that he wont have to pay and that since he lives with us we have to pay and there is nothing we can do.i need to know if he's right, and if its possible that we can sue my brother so we wont have to pay. hes done so muchand we cant pay.can we be saved?

I was taken from one prison to the next to start my sentenced. I had to leave this prison because of my health. They was to take care of me. They then took me to a county jail.I was put in a cell with a "aids" patient that was a active gang member. I am a Drop out gang member. My Parole officer had not been to see me during this time. She was notified of my where about's. I was there for sixteen days nobody came to see me. I was released in another town with no transportation no phone calls no clothes just a paper suit. I have diabetes and high blood pressure and 70% blind. I was basically kicked to the curb.I notified my P.O. within 72 hours. She was extremely upset at me because I was released. When I seen her she screamed and got in my face and treated me like a child. I tried to tell her I have to go get my insulin and she wasn't hearing me. So I left. Now I am violated and she want's to send me back to Prison. Because of her mistakes. Need help on my rights.

Question. There are two biblical verses saying that is wrong to sue for wrong, but rather we are to prefer being defrauded and treated unjust. Please what is your input on this.

Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?" (1 Corinthians 6:1).

i am sending in sick lines fortnightly but my employer is demanding that i ring in every morning to confirm whether i am going to be at work or not. As i am on semi permanent sick leave is my employers demands legal as it is difficult to contact them due to my circumstances. From what i have been told,as long as i have an offical sick line and not a self cert.My employers demands are rubbish and are maybe coming about because of the accident at work. can i please have ur thoughts on this?..

A friend of mine who seems quite depressed but also has an offbeat sense of humor has said this before ... that he'd like to pay someone to give him a lethal injection because he was too afraid to kill himself and wants to go peacefully.

He then says, I don't really mean it.... but he has a tendency to "joke around" about it more frequently when he's depressed.

Should I be concerned?

Would someone who really is NOT serious about suicide even THINK of this?
