In Ky they are pretty lax on the DUI cases, especially the 1st offense. You will probably have to attend a course that will cost you about $150 and pay restitution on damages. You might end up with 30days worst case scenario. But you DO need an attorny to show up with you! It sucks but judges are attorneys to and having one at your side makes all the difference. The man who represents himself has both a fool for a client AND one for an attorney!

Exactly what you deserve I hope. You could have killed someone you idiot! I have had to deal with the pain caused by a moron like you for 15 years now. I hope they give you the electric chair! Then at least for an instant you can feel a tiny bit of the pain I have endured EVERY day for the last 15 years!

Did the person you hit die? That will be a big determining factor with regards to the sentence you could face.

if you want to fight a dui you need an attorney $5000
hit and run is a felony GOOD LUCK
