Question: What should we do to free our planet from terrorism?

Question Details: Not to sound cruel, but I'm certainly not going to pay lip service to anyone. If there was an answer to your question we wouldn't be dealing with our troops fighting over what two grown adults can't come to an agreement upon. The problem is more of us need to compromise or just let bygones be bygones. Unfortunately, the onus of any type of disaster is automatically put on our leaders heads. No matter what we do there is always going to be a difference of opinion and that is a huge problem. Too many people can't deal with that and that's where it stems from. We can't force one way of living on a different society. World peace is a complete pipe dream.

my girlfriend was deleted for posting this answer, but we have no idea as to what part of the guidelines she has broken. Can anyone enlighten us as to how she broke the rules? Or is the website merely censoring anybody speaking against the iraq war?

Go to the Y!A forum link (top right page). There is a category for "Wrongful Violations and Suspensions."
You can post a question about it there, and get an answer from Y!A. That is where you can go to protest violations.

Ok, I got nailed for something similar. Your response was not an answer. As evidenced by saying "I'm...not going to pay lip service" is like saying I'm not going to answer. The goes on to "If there was an answer" again not an answer.

I don't think the deletion had anything to do with the content. Like I say I've gotten reported and my response deleted for the same guideline. Your answer has to be an answer.

I don't see any violation either!
I wonder what the reason given was to have you in violation.....you need to make a written complaint with Yahoo. They'll investigate it, and get back with you. They did it with me when, apparently, there was someone who was wrongfully reporting me, and I demanded an investigation. I received apologies, along with all my points back. Good luck!

she didn't violate any guidelines. someone reported her. and instead of actually reading the actual question, Yahoo Answer just took that person's word for it and deleted it.

it does appear that they have a warped vision of whats right and wrong when it comes to violations IMO....got one the other day lost 10 pts and had my reply removed..............oh well.......but I actually agree with her world peace whilst is a nice thought is something that truly can NOT be achieved regardless of who wants it...............
