How do you get the law to work on your side

In my friends divorce settlement she was to get certain things (like a $15,ooo one time payment and Health coverage benefits which her husband simply doesn't pay, she hired 3 different lawyers who took the little money she has left, one said he couldn't take her case afterall sev months later shile sitting with all her papers and kept her money, the next sent her private matters to her ex's attorneys office for them to see. Meanwhile her financial accountant (who turns out to be a drug addict and dealer) has raped her bank account of 100,000 dollars, the bank acknowledged it as fraud and money laundering but isn't taking any action. Where does she go with this mess?!! She has no $ left for a lawyer, the police can't do anything, who actually does something in this country if there is grand larson, hwere does one go?

could the attorneys be doing this for some ulterior motive, may be working together to settle the case or upset the clients into early settlement?

I know some girls that drive dangerously at my high school. It really should matter if you are a guy or girl. There will be bad driver for each gender. It seems unfair to me.

We have already been through the courts and lost due to incompetence on the part of our very expensive attorney, and a stubborn old judge. It is regarding my 11 year old stepson (boyfriend's son) who left to visit his mom and didn't come back. He was living with us for a few months prior, and going to school and doing well. Now we cannot even get a hold of him or her (spoken once in a month and a half) despite repeated calls and messages. It is a BAD environment with drugs, alcohol, lack of guidance and erratic school attendance. He was supposed to fly back to us after 2 weeks. We feel powerless...he is out of state and we cannot afford another attorney. It is really a matter of his health and welfare, he's only 11. If you have any ideas, thanks.

without the cost of a high powered do nothing attorney that is so lazy all they want is $$$$$ the constitution says everyone is entitled to full representation under the law where did the constitution change that every thing must be done by an attorney
we don't have any more money to spend on people that wear suits and do nothing to earn the $$$$ they outrageously charge
SURELY THERE IS AN HONEST ATTORNEY SOMEWHERE

I have a friend who just broke up with her boyfriend of 4 years, they have a 3 year old daughter as well, and the father is now taking my friend to court for full custody claiming that my friend is an unfit mother and that he doesn't agree with the way that she is raising her. Now, the problem is that my friend has a record for bouncing checks and forging a check and currently has no liscence.
So my question is, what are the chances of him actually getting custody of her? I love this child like my own, we were prego at the same time, our kids are 3 months apart, and i just really dont want my friend to lose custody of her daughter because i know how much mine means to me. :(

The problem is that hes ex- girlfriend, who is crazy! hates me because he is with me now, and calls my boyfriend to harrass him and tell him that if he doesn't leave me she is going to "beat me up", do something to me etc...that she doesn't care, that he is "her man", that i came between them ( it is not true). She used to hit my boyfriend before and make his life miserable. Now after 1 year and a half, she left for a while but now she is back, wanting to hurt me or him somehow. I need help on how to make her stop harrassing me everywhere we go, ( he is a musician, so he takes me to most of his gigs). Two days ago, was the "drop that spilled the glass" for me. She show up at the gig and grabbed me by my arm so hard that she left a big bruse on my arm, and then security took her outside. She was treatening my boyfriend and yelling that she was going to "beat me up". im really scare that she could hurt me or my boyfriend. Please help.

On October 3, 1995, Simpson was found not guilty of two murders. On February 4, 1997, a civil jury in Santa Monica, California found Simpson liable for their wrongful death. Is he guilty or innocent? Who knows?
What I do know is that our courts have made a decision and it has been upheld for at least 9 years. I can sense the racial disharmony from many of you reading this. If you're anti-OJ, well prove his guilt via the judicial system; quit wasting our time in the court of public opinion. If you are pro-OJ, quit the jubilation; 3 families have been ruined. We have many unsolved murders in American history; the death of Ronald Goldman and Nicole Simpson are among them. So are the deaths of John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, JonBenet Ramsey, Marilyn Sheppard, the Black Dahlia, Pre & Post Civil War lynchings, so-called "outside agitators" during the Civil Rights movement, and most importantly the TRUTH.
So please educate me; tell me again why are we still debating about OJ?

my professor said that the working class are more liberal in economics and conservative in moral issues, while the upper middle class are more liberal in moral issues and conservative in economic issues. The problem I see is a trend that the working class is becoming more liberal on moral issues. What do you think about that?

I am 21, (my brother is 18) and now that I am older I've come to see that what my father was paying my mother as 'child support' was not nearly close enough to what it should have been, legally. My mother ran out of money for the lawyers so she was forced to settle for $363. My father owns 2 homes on Long Island, NY. He owns a Yacht and for the past few months he has been in Australia...."working". How can I appeal the courts decision, so i can gain all the past child support he should have given my mother to take care of me and my brother. Trust me, im not spoiled, just angry that my mother has no teeth in her mouth b/c she cant afford them and my father went fishing on his boat in Austraila for Labor Day while my mother and I went to Blockbuster (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was awesome btw). How do you get justice if you can't afford an attorney? P.s. Appellet court does not offer free attorneys...Can anyone help me?

Starting tomorrow the shop where I work has an offer on a magazine, where every person who purchases the magazine costing £2.00 gets a full sized bottle of Aussie 3 minute miracal conditioner for your hair. It is worth/on sale at £5.99. I want to buy 6 magazines at £2.00 each- £12 altogether and take 1 product for each magazine to sell on Ebay for a reduced price- something less than the £5.99 found in the shops. How does this work with regard to the law? Am I allowed to do this or not? Can I also sell the magzines again for a reduced price? If it is illegal to do it then please let me know and I will reconsider. However I do believe that their is a good profit to be made.
