Two and a half years ago, I had my annual "woman" check up, and everything was fine, no abnormalities. Then, six months after that, I changed to a RNC and had another check up. To make a long story short, my pap results for the exam I had with the RNC turned out to be abnormal, and they NEVER notified me. Because my husband and I were trying to concieve, I didn't go back until recently...that's when I discovered the results. Well, the results came back abnormal on my most recent visit as well. As it turns out, my new doc told me that I may have cervical cancer. If the RNC's office would have informed me of the abnormal results, this might have been prevented.. Is there anything I can do?

I am totally lost can someone tell me some information about restorative justice and:

How would a conservative reply to a call for more restorative justice? How would a restorative justice advocate respond to a conservative call for more prisons?

If Marx were alive today, what would he think about the prosperity enjoyed by the working class in industrial societies? Might he alter his vision of the capitalist system?

HMMMMM!! SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT????!!!!!!

Let's say I break into your house

A lady wrote the best letter in the Editorials in ages!!

It explains things better than all the baloney you hear on TV.

Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely. Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.

Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work because he too is hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there.

It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and
I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know.

And what a deal it is for me!! I live in your house, contributing only a
fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being an anti-housebreaker. Oh yeah, I want you to learn my language so you can communicate with me.

Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?! Only in America....if you agree, pass it on (in English). Share it if you see the value of it as a good smile. If not blow it off along with your future Social Security funds, and a lot of other things.

I love the Coffee at Dunkin Donuts and every time I see one I have to stop for coffee. Recently I stopped at one in Glen Burnie, Maryland and on the side of the building was a sticker that said "Bush Lies". That really bothers me. My question is, is that legal? I personally feel that the sticker should be taken off and the forenors running that Dunkin Donuts should be told not to put it back up.

I am experiencing gangstalking. Being harrassed where I live, being followed everywhere I go. I would like to know if people have experienced this kind of behavior first-hand and how they dealt with it. I have found much information on the internet, but it tells me nothing about what I can do, since these people are strangers to me. They have taken my picture by cellphone and have spread filthy lies about me, and have even reached me out of province. I amharrassed and threatened where I live, and I have moved a few times. This has been going on for years and I have gone from fearful to angry. I now need to find solutions. I am in the proccess of bringing this behavior out in the open. I have contacted a local newspaper and I am also in the proccess of starting a meeting for people in my area. And yes, I have talked to counsellors and the police, but unless I know who these people are and can catch them in the act, they can't help me. Any advice would be appreciated.

I went swimming this morning, a guy in the water was naked. The world did not end. It is weird this society condemns the normal ordinary human body as disgusting and evil, I wonder why it does. What exactly is it thats evil about our bodies and why is it the business of the criminal law to enforce such nonsense against adults who don't believe that way? Freedom, does it actually mean anything or is it just one more empty word.

I have a problem with Talk Talk. I rang them to say I wanted to change the package i have with them from Talk 1 to Talk 3 with the broadband, they said ok but that the connection of broadband could take up to 2 months.
A few days later, NTL-who I have been with for the last year and rang to cancel my agreement, offered me to stay with them for the same price I was paying before so I accepted NTL.

So...I rang Talk Talk and said that I wanted to cancel the broadband and revert to the Talk 1 option I was already on for ages. They are telling me now that if I cancel they will charge me 70 quid!!!! I am like "what?"

1st of all there is no written agreement between Talk Talk and myself.
2ndly surely there must be a cooling off period allowed.
3rdly They havent even switched me over to the Talk 3 plan yet!
Surely this isnt right and I am entitled to cancel before they have connected me. Surely a cooling off period is allowed. What can i do?

My husband and I found out that our attorney is best friends with the opposing council. When we asked her if she knew the other attorney, she told she had only "heard" of the other attorney and did not know her personally. Now that our case is over and settled, we have discovered that the two lawyers are best friends. It has been months and still haven't received any paperwork from the judge. We believe that we were misled by our attorney. What can we do? Did we get proper representation for our money?

I am taking some bailiffs to court after they illegally seized my goods. They took my computer, which I informed them that I used for it work and college, also I was not the intended person items they were to take. I told them this and yet they took it. They were unethical and I have taped recording to prove it.

I have my exams at the end of september, and I need my computer to practice for my exams and finish my project on time.

This is a real inconvenience and I'm truly having nightmares about it. Exams is so stressful, it's worse when you cannot prepare as you should. Because I juggle between work and college, I do not have time to go to a library.

I'm trying to get back my items but the hearing date is on the 17th of November, long after my exams. I requested an earlier court date from the judge, i haven't had a response and my exams are two weeks away!

I don't know how much to request for stress, I don't want to be OTT, but I need to be compensated!!
