If you've placed an order for a product, that is usually considered a binding contract to pay a certain amount - in other words, you've gotta pay if you've placed an order.

Definately not illegal but RECOMMENDED by the BUSH administration. As a matter of fact he will be more than happy to have you undertake massive personal credit debt with his friends at Amex, MasterCard and Visa.
Then when you need to claim personal bankruptcy for sucumbing to the onslaught of unregulated credit marketing he will then change law to make credit card debt not protected forgivable anymore.
Oh wait, he already passed that law.
One would only hope that he would start cracxking down on identity fraud (which he has the ability to do) but chooses not to as his friends at the banks make money off that too.
