Why does it take so long to get a settlement for a work injury in South Carolina? It has been 2 years and still no activity.

You can thank the trial lawyers and lazy slackers for your suffering. Because so many people try to abuse the system, even legitimate claims are slow and painful.
Remember this the next time you know someone who is abusing the system. Consider turning them in. It's a service to everyone.

Mine took about 10 years, settlement finally the day of the court procedings in the back of the court house.
