This old friend of mine met a girl he talked to on myspace he is 22 and she is 14 the night they met they had sexual relations that was video taped..He KNEW she was 14, later that week I saw him with hickies all over his neck from this girl, the moment I found out she was 14 I called his parents and went through many cycles to find her Aunts phone number, I contacted her. No one seemed to care!! He started to hang out with a group of underage teenagers and served them alcohol...so now statutory rape and serving to minors. He was pulled over one night for speeding, these teenagers were in the car with him drunk from the alcohol he had given them and his relationship with this 14 year old was no longer a private matter. He was arrested and put in a cell for ONE night..(did I mention his parents are rich?)

why are child molesters seeming to get a break in the justice system by claiming insanity to under-go treatment when its only to avoid going to jail. why do these freaks get a break when they get caught molesting a child why not a severe penalty to meet the crime. just jail time wouldnt work imo.

I live in Colorado. A few years back my child was molested and the preditor was suposed to register as a sex offender. The local police said they didn't have him as being registered when they ran him state and national. I did the county, state, and national on computer and could not locate him either. I called the DA's office in town and they told me to call a victims place but didn't have a phone number to give me. The police DID say this man WAS to be a registered sex offender permanently! I had told them that I had seen the man walking thru a local store, and I couldn't imagine if that had been my son running into him! But they couldn't locate him then.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO I SHOULD CONTACT TO GET SOME ANSWERS AS TO WHY THIS MAN IS NOT REGISTERED? And how to make them look for him before he finds some other child to hurt. I can't believe he's just out there, and no one is doing anything to even FIND him! He is in his early twenties. The dad and his boy friend, live in same town!

We have moved out of a rented flat and the landlord is trying to take a big chunk of the deposit. He is refusing to provide a signed copy of the inventory, making us believe it doesnt exist.

What can we do?

I am not asking about the war crimes court in the Hague, but the international court set up in approx. the year 2000. The court that the USA did not recognise. I only ask because Blair did sign up to it, and when he leaves power, is there any chance at all that he could be made to stand trial for his part in lying our nation to war?

it's ironic really because I’ve seen all Bin Laden's videos and I never heard him insult the Bible or the Torah, he always attacked the Jews and the west but never offended a religion, neither did I see a Muslim in this site who attacked Christianity or Jewish. The west is judging with different yardsticks, e.g.; when the Arab world objected the cartoons of Prophet Mohammed (ص ) the Denmark defended itself by saying that everyone has the right to express his opinion freely but when a Danish journalist questioned the holocaust he was imprisoned, also when an Arabic business man wanted to put the images of Kana's massacre in Lebanon in some western newspapers, some refused and the rest agreed but removed some images, but never refused to put all the images of what Hezbollah did in Israel
So how could you keep on criticizing religions while you are the ones who take biased decisions and want to change the world to the way you like it?!

"there was no 'bill of lading'or identifiers of the source of the material." he said.

Although I suggested several possibilities for tracking down the proper owners: "Reversed address number", "tenth ave instead of tenth street", "canvassing neighbors", etc. he seemed to be of the opinion that whoever delivered should come get the stack if they really want it.

within a few days the stack was no longer in the driveway.

Now, three weeks later, I've learned that the sate police have given him three days to identify the party he claims to have "given" the stack to, and also learned that the stack rightly belongs to another close neighbor.

Now I feel complicit in that I "DID NOTHING!" with the knowledge I had of the situation. I could have at least strongly encouraged him to make an honest effort to find the owner.

What would you have done in this situation?

I'm going to have to say that with a declining trend of circumcisions and with the advent of the internet and more knowledge out there, that eventually it'll peter off (hah good pun there). But one has only hope for this kind of thing.

I'm also only referring to circumcising babies. Not something someone does when they're like 17..

A friend of mine was on probation in two cities, Leominster and Fitchburg mass. She was arrested in Leominster on a charge which was dismissed in court on her first appearance. Being that she was on probation she had to appear in Fitchburg because being arrested while on probation is a violation. She was told by her lawyer that in order to avoid being incarcerated she would have to plead guilty to the charge. Now, she is labeled a felon due to what we were told " thats's the law". Is this not double jeoprady?

It is time for the American people to understand that the Supreme Court has CONSISTENTLY ruled that the 16th Amendment did not give the government the authority to impose a direct unapportioned tax on the labor of the people. The IRS Code does not trump Supreme Court decisions. The Supreme Court has DEFINED income, and it is neither wages nor labor."
