Any store that sells joke items in a mall would carry this item. There are other ways to get disqualified. However, I like your unique idea. Good luck and hope you get some laughs!

Really sorry to see all the people that think jury duty is such a joke(yes I do have a sense of humor!!) but if you were being tried by jury, wouldn't you like to have the right to be heard from a serious jury member? Most times you don't get picked anyway and really whats the big deal, have to take time off from partying? If you want the glasses your best bet is the joke store.

My advice for those on jury duty is to take a book with you - preferably a long one as there is a lot of sitting around waiting. Assuming you even get picked to serve on a jury, if there are legal arguments between lawyers the court will be cleared while the arguments are resolved behind closed doors. Best find a good book and make sure you take it with you. I found i'd more than half finished mine when my fortnight was up...

I have friends who have performed Jury service and they have sat around all day for a week and done NOTHING - I think this is a waste of the tax payers money.

So, make sure you take lots to do with you. Books and magazines to read, an i-pod or similar, any mobile games to play, a pack of cards (in case other prospective jurors fancy a game) and anything else you can think of to keep you amused if you are not chosen and sit around forever.

If you are actually chosen, it really is your duty to listen carefully to what is going on so that ultimately you can make an informed decision on guilt or otherwise. So if it gets that far, try and use it as a learning exercise and try to enjoy it.

not a good idea. contempt of court and all that. just tell them that you think anyone arrested is probably guilty of something anyway, an they will let you go.
