Ian HUNTLY wants to commit suicide, he is costing the taxpayer money everyday he is in prison. Should the prison service not be allowed to just let him kill himself as he did those young girls a few years ago? Discuss

Yes he should do away with his own life, this monster should have been hung the moment he was found guilty, it pisses me off these people who do these crimes, go to prison have luxury in theire cells, t.v`s the lot, and we pay for it all like you say out of our taxes. Just let him die, he wont be missed thats for sure!

Yes. He should, as you say, he is costing us money as it is, let alone the extra money putting him on heightened suicide watch is going to cost. If they want to commit suicide let them, so that 1. They dont cost us 2. Frees up their cells in our over spilling prisons 3. They are of no worry to to law abiding citizens on their release because theyre dead! ie no chance of reoffending etc.

But then the hippy europeans and lib dems will probably call letting them use their own free will to take their own life, free from duress a breach of their Human Rights. Go figure.

I think suicide, is to good for the likes of Ian Huntley. He should be locked in a torture room with the poor parents of those girls, let them vent their anger at him.

It's hard to imagine loosing a child, but loosing one in them circumstances must be soul destroying!

These sick men and women are costing us Tax payers far to much money something should be done about, it's getting worse since we joined the EU, they get too many benefits from the European Court of Law. I never understand it myself, the majority of people you talk to think like I do, so if the "Do-Gooders" are in the minority, why do they have more say than the rest of us?!

I mean what type of a world allows someone who steals electricity from a street lamppost a longer sentence than a paedophile!!!! Bizarre!!!!!!!!

I say bring back corporal punishment!!!!

Suicide is a free choice and he should not be stopped from doing so and save the taxpayer a lot of money

I would like to have these kind of prisoners used for medical testing, that way they would earn their keep.

It would also stop innocent animals in labs from being used, which is not giving a true test result as it would have done if tested on humans who the medication is intended for.

All prisoners should be allowed to commit suicide and encouraged too.
