I am being pressured into a plea bargain and I dont understand what my options are. I have already continued this case once. Can I continue one more time and how do I present that to the court?

Plea bargains are to be entered into freely and without being 'pressured' All guilty plea petitions contain the language that asks if anyone is pressuring you to plead guilty or if this plea is of your own free will, if you cannot admit to the elements of the crime and if you do not agree that you did infact break the law then your plea will not be accepted. if you already have an attorney, see how you can ask for a continuance, if you dont have a lawyer yet, sometimes the court will grant you one continuance to retain one.

options,,,, simple
plea to the charge, plea to lesser charges, go to trial let the jury decide, go to trial let the judge decide, ect

your lawyer should be able to assist you, that is thier job. if they refuse to do their job, fire them and get a new lawyer, this can be expensive though,
