One cause they are NOT ashamed of who they are.
Two If straight people can kiss, and hold hands in public then so can lesbian and gay people.
Third if you dont like then turn your head and dont look. I dont see you on here complaining about straight couples do the same things. So your problem is not with "people holding hands and kissing in public. its gay and lesbian people doing it."
Well I am happily married to a man, however I think you are immature, narrow-minded, a racist, more then a few fries short of a happy meal, a jerk, and oh so much more!
Get a life, NO ONE CARES if you like gay people or not! They never said you had to like them. News flash you are one little narrow minded prick your are not going to change the laws and they will never be a law that outcast the gay community from holding hand and kissing in public. The only way that would happen is if it was a law for EVERYONE! You got a lot of growing up to do. Just cause your not into something or not like it dont mean others cant have the right to be. So get over your self!

Do you not feel ashamed of posting that question? Being gay is nothing to hide, if straight couples show their love and affection for one another in public why cant gay couples? There is no difference. Why should there be laws against kissing or holding hands, free will, freedom to do as we wish, freedom of speech so on. Next people will say it is wrong for people of different races to be together. You must not be very secure within yourself if you are judging others, especially for such a petty and pathetic excuse.

Why don't you answer your won question? Exactly what, specifically, do you object to about seeing people holding hands?
And why do you feel it necessary to publicise your prejudices, not with any atgempt at reason, but with insults?
If I look around, I see a lot of things that I find unpleasant, unattractive or offensive. So I don't look at them. I've got more important things to worry about. Why aren't you offended by poverty, homelessness, abuse, and so on? What are you doing about these, which affect everybody, instead of telling us all you have a problem with people who love each other - and let's face it, we need loving people.

for the same reason that there are not laws against straight people doing the same thing. it is considered a freedom of speech. plus there would be riots if they only did it for gays. and do you not want to hold you girls hand or kiss her in public. that is why there is not a law.

Why does it bother you so much? Just don't look. You can not honestly say you would not mind seeing a couple of Hot big busted gals make out in front of you.
So, if there where laws against it, then that could never happen. Whelp there goes your knotty magazines....

Attitudes like yours disgust me far more than anything a gay couple could do.
If you don't like what gays are doing, LOOK AWAY, but don't you dare question their right to do it. I guess your precious freedoms (like freedom of expression) are only good when they work to your benefit. What's else should be illegal, in your opinion? Interracial couples kissing? Teenagers kissing? Arabs kissing?
Maybe you can't stand to see them kissing because you secretly wish they didn't exist at all, and you can't stand to see them happy.
And where do you get off correcting the first responder's spelling? You can't spell either. It's "inequality", and "answered".

Why aren't there laws against letting homophobics breathe? They have a right to display their affections towards their mates just like we who are straight do. If you don't like it, walk away or move. They are tax payers and Americans too. Learn to deal with it. If not, move to another city, state or country. Who are you to judge people who are gay anyway?

To be quiet honest, there is a large population that may disapprove or are disgusted by PDA (Public Displays of Affection) in general.... either straight or homosexual. Others may find it cute and niceview.
In some cultures/societies/countries, homosexuals may need to be extra careful about PDA. There are a lot of be homophobic onlookers and bystanders around....
I wouldnt like it for younger children to view this as normal behavior! It is so confusing for them! Plus, what is a good way to explain such behavior to kids! When I have children of my own one day, I would not like it if they were to see such thing as normal... but that is just my opinion... no offense to anyone :)

If you can choose not to display affection in public then you have the right to discriminate against those who cannot.
If you can choose your sexual orientation then go ahead and slander those who cannot.
But something tells me you can't.
Don't just be straight! Straighten out your thinking too!
