talking smack in a bar one night. You never actually hired anyone. You never actually asked anyone to do anything. You simply said "I wish someone would take him out." Soemone else asks you if you would be willing to pay $2,000 and you respond "Yeah, it would be worth it to me." This is the only conversation, the only time it is ever broached, and you are drunk. After you go home, you get a call from the guy in the bar, and he is taping the call with the help of the police, and he gets you to repeat what you said. You never mention it again, or actually do anything to ask or hire anyone to do the deed. How would you fight the court case? He was charged with solicitation to commit first degree murder and sentenced to 25 years. He is contending that the most he could be charged with is solicitation to solicit first degree murder, which is only punishable by five years, but the appeals have so far been denied. Any ideas or suggestions?

We are now finding that Women are just as capable of committing the same types of heinous crimes as men, and about 42 years ago a group of active women started a Movement called the Womens Lib. who struck out to prove that women were equal to men,so they Demanded "Equal Rights" for women.Their motto being, "Anything a man can do", "A woman can do it better." So now, today with crime on the rise, and a great many being committed by women as well as men, I thought I`d ask the question, Do we make a difference in the sexes, when it comes to Laws of sentencing women for committing same type heinous crimes as committed by men, or does our system find loop holes for most women, because they are women, and not men?.......... because they find...... there.......really is.....a difference.....in the Sexes ?????

Can a Florida prisoner recieve an interstate transfer to Ohio? If so, would the Florida legislative mandate requiring that prisoners serve 85% of the sentence still apply if he is transferred to a state that does not have that mandate? Is the Florida Parole Board still an active entity, even though prisoners in Florida are no longer allowed to receive parole?

Is there a place that does post conviction pro bono work for criminal offenses in Florida? I have a friend in serious trouble who was really hurt by an attorney who he paid a lot of money to and who didn't even bother to file the appeal he said he was going to file. Now my friend is really stuck! Also, how do I get a copy of the transcripts, and how much would it cost? Are they usually very long? Is it by the page or a flat fee?

She forced me out of our apartment prior to filing. She brought another family member into the country and assisted her in working illegally. This person was brought into our home without my consent. She has not had her AOS interview and her permanent residency is still conditional. Can I convince an immigration judge that she did not enter the marriage in good faith?

My father would like to be buried on his farm. I haven't been able to locate any web sites on the legalities but have heard it is legal if done within 24 hours of death. Do you know where I might find the law spelled out for this situation? Or who to ask? We live in Illinois, assuming the laws may vary from state to state. Thanks!

At no time in the Bible has God changed His mind about the Israelites (Jews) being His chosen people. The Jewish people have disobeyed God time and again but they are still His chosen ones. Anyone trying to war against His people have suffered greatly in Biblical history. Nothing has changed and nothing will change. How can people be so very ignorant as to try and deny their God given land and go against these people? The only reason I can come up with is God has hardened these people’s hearts against the Israelites and they will be destroyed and driven from the land. What do you think? Are you one of the ones God has moved to hate the Jews? Think about it...

Since 1990 Amnesty International has documented executions of child offenders in seven countries: the Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the USA and Yemen. At least two of these countries, Pakistan and Yemen, have since changed their laws to exclude the practice. The country which has carried out the greatest number of known child executions is the good old US of A. So please tell me now How civilized is American society that allows the state murder of children?.
