The Red Cross is not a telemarketer. The can call you even if you have your number on the do not call list for your state. However I would imagine you can speak to a supervisor and have that person take your name out. If that doesn't work, try getting their address and send them a letter requesting that your number be removed from their system.

California Red Cross provides each donor with a card and a password. With the password you can change your information that the California Red Cross uses. If this is available to you, just delete the phone numbers, or give them your daytime number, if you have one.
Since the Red Cross is not the only entity that might telephone you up to 9pm (friends, relatives, work associates, etc.) Turn off the ringer when you go to bed and let the calls go to the voice mail. If you don't already have voice mail, you can buy answering machine/telephones for under $15.

The next time you go in for a donation, tell them that you need to update your donor information. Give them the phone number to a local pay phone as your home number.
Personally, I'd tell them that I recently contracted hepatitis B and then ask when they need for me to be at the next drive.

Damn vampires!! Now I think that giving blood is a very noble thing, but not when they call to harass you for it like this. Next time they call, inform them that you have contracted HIV and watch them drop you off their list like a hot potato.

You can ask them not to call you, or request specific times...but since they are a charity organization, the do not call list does not apply to them...too bad, I still get tons of calls too..

When they call again ask for their supervisor. Then explain how you're already a donor and if they do not remove your name from the data base this will change.

I'm going to go with the earlier suggestion. Give them the local time and temp number.

For one thing, charities are exempt and for another, you have "done business" with them by giving blood so you are pretty much screwed.

Blood Suckers! Ask them nicely to give you their home # so that you can call them back when it is convenient for you.
