One of my friends said that we have to wait till we are 18 to get our license instead of 6 months after you 16th birthday? I will take websites and read it myself if you dont want to explain..

I live in PA and they haven't changed it...yet. There is a lot of discussion about it though, so if your 16 I suggest you go for your test now before they change the law. Oh and when i got my license 6 years ago you were allowed to go 6 months BEFORE you turned 16, but i'm not sure if that rule still applies.

as of last year at least, you can get your permit at 16 and your junior license at 16 and a half and a senior license at 18. junior licenses have a cerfew of i think 11:00 at night. permits require a licensed driver in the front seat at all times and have a cerfew of 11:00.

I have lived here for a few years and the law is now that you have to be 16 and have a drivers' permit for 9 months.

No, you won't be able to force legally in NYC. i'm also a 17 twelve months previous from NJ with my provisional drivers license. you could purely force in the state of up to date Jersey till you get your hardship-free license once you're 18 years previous.

You can get your permit at 16. Then you have to drive 6 months on your permit before you can go for your driving test. GOOD LUCK I Hope you Pass.
