I pushed a video store guy on the ground, he said I can never rent there again. The reason I did it is because he kept looking at me and smiling like I was a piece of meat or something.

He most certainly can. You assaulted and you've been banned from the premises. If you come back, you can be arrested for trespassing.

It sounds like the problem was yours, not his. 1) He, like many employees may be instructed to smile at customers. 2) Even if he did consider you a piece of meat, you don't know that, and could certainly ask him politely to stop looking at you.
3) Unless he physically assaulted you, and you were defending yourself, you had no right to knock him on the floor.
4) Learn to exist in the world without worrying about what others think, do or say about you. What ever it is, it does not make you into that person.
For example, if I call you a giraffe, does that make you a giraffe> No. Substitute any word or phrase in the place of giraffe. Still true!

Do you mean can he ban you from going there to rent movie or keep looking and smiling at you?
It depends whether you have membership or not, if you do pay for your membership, how can't you go back to rent movie? However, if you don't, he may try to stop you to go back there for calling police saying you are blocking his business (if he is the boss). Of course, he may also mean that he will fight you if you go back.
If for the looking and smiling, you can tell him stop looking & smiling at you or you can look & smile at him back. However, he may continue doing it then you really can't do much about it because he is not phyically hurting you. If there is a fight, the police always looking for the one who starts it phyiscally. It is hard to prove that he is the one who starts it first by "looking" at you. Plus, we are in the American where people have "freedom". Good or bad? It depends on how people to use it.

Learn to control your anger. He may have been trying to be nice and he just looks like that. Ignore stuff when you don't know for sure. You don't want to end up in jail over a misunderstanding!Yes, he can do that IF he tells the manager. He may not if he was guilty of checking you out because he would probably lose his job!

Pretty sure he can. You harassed him...you were out of line and he has every right to kick you out of his store and tell you not to come back. He is not discriminating against you for your race, religion...etc...he's just discriminating you because you were acting like a jerk...sorry, no 'equal opportunity' protection for you.

He has the right to deny his services to anybody because he is not obligated to do so under the law unless you already paid.

Yes, he can do that. You assaulted him for one, and at his place of work! Don't you know how to ignore annoying things?

He could actually have you arrested for assault.
He SHOULD be able to have you arrested for being stupid. Luckily for you that is not a crime.
