I'm fed up with hearing politicians on BOTH sides when referring to outsourcing state, "The jobs are gone and are NOT coming back." My response is, "WTH NOT?"

Since Nafta and other things have obviously failed then why not reverse them? Why not begin to create/change laws that give incentives for companies to stay within the USA. Start reversing crap that took them away.

Outsourcing is not just the minut jobs anymore. In India now, companies are moving there to get accountants, engineers, programmers, etc....

What can we do and doesn't everybody agree that we shouldn't just accept this 'live with it' answer the politicians are throwing at us?

because they get 3 hots and a cot? Along with, FREE schooling, weight benches, medical, dental, starting their own gangs up, snacks, and a "lover".?
When being in "PRISON" means not having nothing but the clothes on their back and not being able to leave their cell. Why does the state thinks its good to give these people, killers, molesters,ect.. things that a normal hard working person struggles to get?( Free dental, medical and schooling)?

I've found a great name for my new business, and it's not registered by anyone else in the U.S. or my state. The ".com" domain name is already taken though, by someone in Australia. There's actually no website up at the address, but the domain is taken. I googled the name. Nothing. I searched Australia's trademark database, and the name isn't registered. Is it OK for me to do business under a name that's "dot commed" by someone else in another country?

Bush said he would fire anyone caught leaking information that was top secret. Today, he was just quoted as saying America is keeping its word with helping Iraq, how about keeping HIS word to fire the one who leaked info out of the white house-Rove!

I was JUST relieved from post as I waited for my ride home. I decided to drink a couple of beers, my friend of relieved me had a BB gun we shot at some beer cans and rabbits. As my friend was on patrol, I pumped up the gun before setting it in the truck(security guarding a bulldozer) I accidently pulled the trigger. The BB round went through the back window of the Dozer cracking it to hell, exited out the front window, COMPLETELY shattering the exit window. My question is this.......the police told me it would be a midameanor charge. I am wondering if the judge will agree to send me to rehab as I was intoxicated during this incident. What are your views?

Are you concerned over the fact that some individuals are using the courts to sue fast food franchisees to excuse there act of eating there and getting over weight? Seems it simple enough not eat there but instead they are using the courts to shift the blame from their choices to the business itself. Am I the only thinking this is just a bit nuts?

Grandparents gave gr.daughter electronic gifts over the past year. When father and stepmother excercised right to discipline daughter(restrictions)by taking away those items, the gr.parents sided with the child against the father demanding and threatening the father to return the items to the child or else they would claim the items initially belonged to them by providing reciepts for the sale of the items. Both of the parents of the minor child in question have been divorced for over 2yrs with mother having 51% custody and father 49%. The gr.parents are using their influence to undermine the fathers right to parent. Could the father ask the courts for a restraining order against such gr.parents?? The daughter has since refused to visit with father on court ordered visitation days for the past seven weeks since the restrictions began due to poor academics and behavior.

If we are required to give two weeks notice to employers, why are they not required to do the same for employees? I was wondering because a social services program I work for is shutting down, and employees were given a week and a half's notice that the program was shutting down and that they would no longer have jobs. I have not recieved word at all from my supervisor at this point, but have discovered the information to have been disclosed by her to other employees, as well as formal announcements made to clients. Any information of laws concerning this situation would be helpful.
