Also shouldn't it be that whatever age you get tried as an adult also be the age when you can do anything you want, ie. marry, smoke, sex, not have to have your parents give their consent for anything? if not, then why tried as an adult if you are under 18?

There are tons of kids in the neighborhood and we are worried about them being interested in the pool and making their way into it. There is no current fence around it, and no requirements for a fence by the county/city offices. Can anything be done?!

That old rat Castro is living to long and i am sick of him and his anti-american rhetoric. He is a real a threat and is breeding commies to invade us and sabotage us. the Cuban exiles here want him gone. He oppresses his people. He was supposed to free them from the old regime but after 50 years he is still a dictator.
Why not just crush him and free his people? it would be good for business too. He once had weapons of mass destruction atomic missleds pointed at us. Who is to say he will not do that again?
I say kill the commie bastard and throw out his regime and insititute a free democracy for those poor people overt here just 90 miles from USA. Drop a couple of bunker bombs on his palace.
He is a much bigger threat than Iraq and that Osama Arab guy.

Most of the world realizes and knows when the country they live in is ruled by corrupt politicians but here in America, Americans mostly stand by and support the lies and believe it. Why so much ignorance?

Isn't it against the principles of what your forefathers fought for and created?

Whether or not these people are actually guilty is unimportant to me (although many are innocent, about this there is no doubt), it's the fact that the majority are yet to be charged after more than four years!!

One prisoner, an Australian named David Hicks, has been in solitary confinement for 4 1/2 years without charge. He was captured with Taliban troops in Afghanistan. When he does eventually face trial it will be in a military court where the autonomy of Judges is far from garanteed...

What do Americans think of this situation and why it has been allowed to happen?

I am engaged to an Egyptian national. He's lived here in the States twice before, both times in excellent standing. He was here for work. He's divorced with 2 daughters in Egypt. Is it wiser to bring him here as my fiance, or as my husband? Should I marry him in Egypt at the American Embassy, or should I wait until he's here? I'm going to Egypt in January, and was also there a few years ago. What is better, bringing him as a fiance or as a spouse?

I heard that there is no law requiring anyone to file a tax return, because such a law would violate the 5th Amendment. Is that true?

Suppose a man breaks into my house, he steps on an electrified cable, and dies. Would that make me a criminal? And what if I had intentionally left the cable there, so any burglars stepped on it, and died, and I wasn't robbed?

In that case, I'd have committed a crime, and not in self-defense, but my victim would have been a criminal himself, and nothing would have happened to him, if he hadn't broken into my house in the first place. Would I have to go to jail for that?

same sex marriages debates continues, but the real issue here is the separation between religion and goverment. I understand that many of our laws are based on religious belief, but when is it enough? How fair is it to force Christian views onto people of other religions?

I was at the gym last night taking a kickboxing class. The instructor gets a kick out of making us work really f*cking hard and she started to piss me off. I got tired of hearing "hook, punch, kick, kick back, squat...ect" over and over and over again. We were about 5 minutes into class and I was hurtin. So, I moved a little bit closer to her each interval until I was within kicking distance from her head. The next time she told us to high kick, I knocked her on her a$s. The rest of the class cheered but she got really pissed and cut up my membership card. Do I have a lawsuit? Shouldn't I be reimbursed for the yearly fee that I paid in advance? After all, it was only my second day at the the gym!
