don't have enought to eat, a roof over their head or a decent economy to find a paying job in? Where do the weapons that are stockpiled in their arsenals come from? Who benefits from the sales of the billions spent on these unnecessary weapons? How do the local population benefit? What would happen to the US economy if it stopped mass producing and mass proliferating weapons of MD?

It's obvious and has been for years that the most lethally addicting substance available is cigarettes. But tobacco doesn't have any addicting ingredients, cigarette companies ADD nicotine to get consumers addicted. Why in the world is there a "war on drugs" when the most heinous drug is allowed everywhere?

I have an upcoming hearing for a motion to sign orders, wherein opponents counsel is requesting that the judge sign an order.
This order, at its end, says "i accept and consent to these orders....' and has signature spaces.
If i sign this am I waiving my right to appeals and post trial motions?

In 1999 I got in a street fight and got charged with assault and harassing communication (kicking the guy's butt and telling him I would kick his butt). I pled to Disorderly Conduct but the two old charges still pop up on security checks. What can I do to get those old charges erased from my record (not the Disorcerly Conduct, the the other charges)

For Christmas I bought a gift certificate for my mom to have our house cleaned. The amount was $250.00 which is quite a lot for the area I live in. I really liked the conversation I had with the woman who owns the company and felt assured that the extra money I was spending would mean our house would be cleaned very well.

My mom finally got around to having the housecleaning done. The owner of the company came out to see the house and to see what my mom wanted done.

When I came home after the housecleaning I was stunned. Very little was cleaned. The things they did clean were done sloppily. They did not clean any of the bedrooms or our kitchen. They only cleaned 1 of the 3 bathrooms. The hallway was vacuumed but very sloppily.

My mom did not know how much I had spent and I decided to tell her because I could not beleive what I was seeing. My mom called the company today and the owner had no regrets and was rude. I feel like I was robbed. Do I have any recourse?

I am installing solar panels on the roof of my townhouse in VA. The HOA has contacted me and says their bylaws do not allow for "any alterations to the stucture". (not sure how dorky satellite dishes seem to get a waiver on this, but never mind that).

what is the best way to beat these little sh*ts? I hear they have their little fiefdoms and can be petty little school marms, so who has ever outsmarted them, tricked them, or out-lawyered them?

This has been going on for years. Why ? Why does the government allow this to happen ? Why are we not charged the refinement cost associated with the gas we are purchasing now when it was refined years ago ?

I am needing to file a small claims suit agains my ex fiancee. What I need to know is what I can include in the suit. Her cell phone for the past three years has been in my name, but she malitiously accrued several hundred dollars in charges just before she broke up with me. There was an agreement we made together to split the phone bill 33%/64% (hers was 33%). Can I hold her responsible for these charges, overage charges, line suspoension charges, and number cancellation charges? Also, in taking this to court, can I include loss of wages during the court proceedings?
