They should be found guilty on Thursday and executed on Friday.. You start killing them faster, criminals would think twice before doing something that will put them in that position. Our laws in America are to laid back. Kill 'em all immediatly..

Yes, I think that it's just as cruel to have them sitting around waiting to die. I think that these laws were written at time when collecting evidence was a longer and slower process. However, in these days of dna evidence,
computerized data and record keeping, there is no need to keep these guys on death row for such a long time. The whole idea of tax payer dollars doesn't bother me,because I think that the number of inmates on death row is actually just a tiny fraction, to those who are serving long sentences.

Yes...it's a financial drain to support all these people with their endless appeals, room and board, and other lawsuits. I believe in doing whatever we can to keep from executing the wrong people, but at the same time...let's just get it over with , most stay on death row until they die naturally...the death sentence is never even carried out.

Personally, I would say that we should wait as long as possible. Think about it. This is the taking of another's life. And, there have been mistakes. Put in "innocents on death row" in Yahoo's Search bar and learn something.

When there is no doubt about their guilt, yes especially serial or child killers. It shouldn't take more than 5 years, not 15-20.

There should not be executions at all. It is cruel and unusually barbaric . I believe in life-sentences without parole for violent murderers .
