I feel that anybody who kills of molests a child should be publicly executed. I understand that my views are very hardcore, however if you have kids you know why I feel this way. Besides there is no form or rehabilitation in the world that can stop these creatures. So catch em and killem!!

i think that if u molest someone or kill someone u deserve to die. an eye for an eye. Everyday people are released and we dont have any control over them who's to say they wont kill again, they have killed once isn't that enough to get the a death sentence. In my opinion execution is the way to go!!!!!!!!!!!! i agree with DmanTL

Interesting to see so many knee-jerk reactions here. Which once again proves that the VAST majority of posters on YA don't know **** about the topic.
How about the 18 year old who was caught having sex with his 17 year old girlfriend's bitchy mom or dad? They press charges, he goes on the books as a child molester. Would you put him to death? Who makes these distinctions? You?
Yes, sexual offenders have a problem. Yes, if they can't control their urges, they need to be locked away from the people they would otherwise harm. But, killing them has crossed the border of not-coolness and is headed straight for the land of dumbass.
BTW, all that crap you hear of the high recidivism rate is just that. Crap. With proper treatment, these people can return to normal life, with a few restrictions. They shouldn't be able to go within 100 feet of any place where children congregate, such as schools or playgrounds, but these people do need to have lives, you know. They've paid their debt to society.

I currently dont have any children. I do agree that the punishment should be severe, but I dont agree that the punishment should be death unless the person took someone's life. you and I are not justified in taking life...BUT I do think that the punishment should be the same x10 worse to what the person did to the child or person in general.

I don't have kids but I I can only try to understand how painful it is for one of your children to get molested... Kill those b@$tards! They do not deserve to get their sins forgiven, they can go to hell for all I care.. Nothing will help them, they are extremely corrupted people

can't agree with you more, although I have no kids but I agree with you 100%.
Infact same should be done to them that they did to the child. And then if they survive they should be executed.

I think they (the law) should allow the parents of the child to kill the violator. If anyone ever hurt one of my grandkids, they better hope the cops find them first.

That goes very much against cruel and unusual punishment. Granted the crime in itself is horrible, but that is just above and beyond

Yes for the execution, but I don't want to watch it! I don't think it'd be healthy for children to watch either. There's no rehab for those sickos!

I thoroughly agree. HOWEVER, there is one problem with that. What about those who are accused of molestation, but it never happened? Falsely accused? It happens!
