Free speech is not limited to making fun of things, but you certainly should be free to poke fun at freedom of speech. It happens every day.

Bush is free to show off his lack of intellect by using "nucular," and even he makes fun of that.

Being free to speak is not the same as being insulated from public (as opposed to state or official) reaction at what you say.

At least the public has finally realized that if Bush's lips are moving, he's lying.

I think we should never make fun of anything. Free Speech is a constitutional right that should be given to everybody regardless of what they're saying.

You should always have manners, tact and class. Unfortuanately too many people don't know the meaning. Has anyone ever heard of there's a time and a place for everything? You can tell a cop to go to hell and say it's free speech and he can haul your rear end off to jail for insulting an officer.

Make fun of what you want, or who you want.. As long as it isn't slanderous then they will need to get over it. Free speech can be made fun of. Look at all the idiots around the country who speek freely.. Come on how could you not make fun of them.. THEY ARE IDIOTS!!!!

There is a big difference between free speech and belittling other people. If something is honestly your opinion, then it is fine to simply state your opinion, not to make others feel less of a person because of what you say.

I think that as a rule, we should legally be able to make fun of whatever we want. However, there are certain things that manners and good taste dictates that you should not make fun of.

You should have the legal right to do so but you must recognize the moral responsibility not to hurt the innocent.
