Ah yes the right to free speech. Note it is freedom OF speech - not freedom FROM speech.

I think everyone should have the freedom to express whatever belief they have. If the issue of gay marriage is truly about the "equal right" to marry then it should be no different from a heterosexual marriage. Marriage is marriage period. It shouldn't matter what gender combination it applies to. Everyone should have an opinion about marriage, it is a vital part of the family structure. Even in cases were the marriage "fails" there are many lessons we can learn. Besides it is hypocritical to try to silence someone else's belief, speech or freedom when that is what the fight for equal rights is all about.

First, it's "couldn't", not "could'nt".
Second, everyone is entitled to an opinion. Doesn't make them right, but everyone gets to speak their mind.
Yay freedom of speech.
Boo turning freedom of speech into a platform to force your opinions on other people.

OK, bottom line, there is no such thing as gay marriage. Marriage is between a man and a women. Anyone who can't figure that out has a problem and could be convinced of anything, no matter how asinine.

Because they r the typical far right NEOCONs that believe they have the right to dictate their beliefs on everybody. They believe this because they believe GOD gives them that right because THEY consider homosexuality a sin. They see things in black and white and feel it is up to them to impose their value system on society.
This group likes to pick only certain portions of the bible to believe in. For example, they don't mind getting a divorce or a ******** even when they are married but let you bring up gay marriage and the preaching of the bible commences.

I don't own a Corvette, but am I allowed to think they look nice, or is ownership the only entitlement to an opinion?

Because it wasn't a gay marriage.
Honestly, How many divorcees are from gay marriages? None. Because it's illegal.
But, my point still stands. :P

Gay marriage has no benefit for society except to tax unnatural sex acts.
