shouldn't the government stop providing all types of benefits for illegals first? After all, if we weren't giving them another reason(all types of freebies) to come here illegally, maybe it wouldn't be as big a problem. What do you think?

That's what I'd like to know about, I am so sick of all this one sided "I just wanted to work and be with my son" BS. If the media wants to present a fair and unbiased story then it should also cover that.

Did she cost someone allot of money when she used their number? Did they have to file bankruptcy or lose their home?

to Europeans are the illegal invaders. Do you think there is a reasonable compromise or are we doomed to have this debate forever (and ever and ever)? Would a fair but objective point system be a potential answer? Do you have a better way that avoids both blanket amnesty and blanket deportation?

The church in Chicago which hid Elvira Arrellano for a year receives many thousands of dollars from church members, on which it doesn't have to pay a dime of taxes because the USA has always exempted churches from paying taxes. If a church encourages the breaking of our nation's laws, shouldn't it lose its tax exemption?

lately i have seen a lot media coverage on the Criminal acts of illegals. They are many times caught by law officials in many cases released to continue breaking the law. I find it Ironic,. that a known criminal especially an illegal..can be given the same rights as an American citizen...shouldnt they be deported as soon as they are found to be in the USA illegally?...and sent to prision in their own country?...what part of illegal dont these law officials understand?.

If a company has been hiring a lot of people recently and demands to see a social security card and license/state ID for new hires of Mexican descent who have accents, but doesn't make the same demand of people of other races (and just asks them for an SSN and takes their word for it), would that be a discrimination case?

Ok. We all agree that "big business" is here for the money and nothing more. So, when they can't make big profits by exploiting undocumented workers (who presumably will work for little to nothing), how many of these companies will simply move production over seas? And, when they do, how will that affect our economy?

Nearly 2 years ago, my husband became obsessed with only buying items made in the USA. YOU would be amazed at how few things we could find. Clothing is nearly entirely made elsewhere. We even tried Farm & Fleet (farmer store) and they only have 1 brand (Carthall?) that is made here. WE looked at Wal-mart (thinking they spouted american slogans) and found nothing. Nothing made in the US. what do you think?

Evidence:

from "justagrandma": "And right now we see Latinos coming here and wanting our country to change to accommodate for them instead of their learning our ways."

from "fatheadandstar": "this is because millions of them come illegally and then send the money they make here back to where they are from, dont even try to learn the language, bad talk the country, have children so they can become citizens, steal jobs. Learn to respect our country and maybe we will accept you" (this was a question asked about Latinos, NOT illegals. So...)

from "louisk": "As far as the Latino go most of them come here illegally and decide they are going to live off of the US taxpayers by collecting all the free services they can get.And the hardworking taxpayer like me cant go to college cant collect unemployment welfare or anything I am entitled to because they have used it all up and they aren't even citizens"

When a white person from Canada or Europe says that he/she is planning to move to America, then everyone welcomes the person and speak positively.

Whereas if an Asian or Latino person says that he/she is coming to America, then hardly anyone welcomes the person & I notice some people who pass comments like "get out of my country" and "you didn't find a better place to go to other than ours?" etc.

Why is this so? Why do I see very few American people welcome Asians or Latinos to their country, but if the person is a caucasian then their response is completely different?

I mean have you ever actually tried to help spmebody get legal, is that how you know everything?Or, is it just what you hear and read.I'm very curious, because I'm going through this with somebody right now and alot of the stuff some people say is just totally incorrect! Why do you argue with people who are going through this like they don't know what they're talking about? What better facts then to actually go through it?

When MOST people come here they don't know anything about the benefits they can get here , they really just come to make a better life. I think it is a bad spirited thing to say they are here taking the benefits when the point of welfare and education is to help people regardless of their status, just for the sake of they being people. I think it's time to realize that AMERICA is not the only country in the world and that there are countries and people that need help. We are fighting a war to "help liberate people" , when we have people here that need our help and all we do is kick them in the ***.. how ironic? dont you think?

Please if youre gonna answer things as "illegal is illegal" or "shoot them" save your time I don't care,

If we, as a nation of lawful and just people, want to reduce the number of people coming into the U.S. to work and send money home to their families. Our government need to start helping our closest neighboring countries to strengthen their government with fair elections and their economies with more commerce. With all the money the U.S. is spending to free Iraq, which doesn't want to help itself, we could promote business relations and jobs in these countries so the people there will not be forced to break immigration laws to feed themselves.

I've often wondered what causes rent to increase so FREQUENTLY in the USA, especially in BIG CITIES like New York and Chicago. The only answer that I can think about is the number of illegals in our country.

What else can it be? Rent goes up when there is an increase in the amount of people in a given area (sociology of overpopulation 101).

Not only are illegals making hard for those born in the USA, they [the illegals] are making it hard for legal immigrants in this country.

Gettting back to the rent issue, what causes rent increase?

Secondly, is the amount of illegals in this country responsible for the insane rent increase that most check-to-check people have to deal with?

If so, why don't Americans stand up and speak their mind?

Your input?
