In the USA you can't just give your kid away. That is called child abandonment, and it is a crime. Although Arellano has already committed a whole string of crimes, including illegally entering the USA (twice- the second time a FELONY), and Identity Theft (a FELONY), her son is a USA citizen, and he has the right to be protected from an abusive parent.
Judging by her actions, Elvira Arellano abused her child by forcing him to be a painted monkey, dancing for the camera, spouting propaganda for the illegal alien organizations, she used him to collect SSI illegally, (probably used that stolen social security number to get it too), and now has neglected him and abandoned him.
Child Protective Services can go in and remove him from that (God awful) "godmother" who does not have legal custody, by law, and who just wants to use the kid to get money & abuse him the same way the mother did, forcing the kid to be a painted dancing monkey for the media.
Let him be adopted by a nice US family.

1.The United States should secure our Southern border with Mexico.
It doesn't make any sense to have uncontrolled massive illegal immigration.
How does it help America in any way by letting in millions of poor & uneducated people, & then not making them learn English & assimilate?
2.The United States should secure our Northern border with Canada.
If the U.S. government continues to leave our border with Canada wide open, it will leave America more vulnerable to a terrorist attack. It gives Islamic extremists an easy opportunity to get into the U.S.
3.The U.S. government should deport every illegal immigrant convicted of a crime.
We should have zero tolerance when it comes to illegal immigrants committing crimes, even if it's just a DUI.
How does it make any sense to let a foreign national come to America illegally, & then let them stay after they have committed a crime against an American citizen?

That's what the leftist illegal alien excuse makers are saying when they compare a woman who left her own son willingly in the US while being deported for breaking several federal crime laws to Rosa Parks. She could have taken her son, as any non-attention getting true mother would have done

OK let me get this straight someone who is here ILLEGALLY was set up in church laying low than she starts traveling the country side demanding to stay here. So ICE deported her back to Mexico. Rightly so.
Now we haven't hit bottom in this story.

In Mexico if you caught as illegally you are automatically deported no if ands or buts. Your gone. No social programs. No health care. No sancutary.

They expect us to keep the illegals here from Mexico.

Can you say hypocrites?

Save the stuff about her son being a US citizen.

If she even would learn to speak English or show some remose maybe just maybe I would feel sorry for her.

OK your turn inform me where I am going wrong on this.

What do you think of this! It has merit!

We know exactly where one cow with mad-cow-disease is located among the millions and millions of cows in America , but we haven't a clue as to where thousands of Illegal immigrants and Terrorists are located.
Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of immigration?

I know the illegal alien excuse makers love to lie about how much illegals contribute to society, but can anyone tell me what she has done that is worthy of her staying in this country, after illegally entering at least two times, being deported twice, and stealing another person's identity to get a job?

And to Arellano: hey lady, if you don't want to be separated from your child, then take him with you. Are things really THAT bad in Mexico? Seems that there are still Mexicans in Mexico (even if half of them are now in Arizona)

My Mother in law has been living in our home for 2 years now, and I feel like I am pushed aside most of the time. Since she has been here, me husband has changed dramatically and I am really considering in leaving, but stuck because I am 7 months pregnant. She came her from Colombia on a tourist visa, but that has expired about 1 and a half year ago. I need some ideas on what I can do to get her to move out. She is totally dependant on her son, and she was dependent on him when she lived in Colombia. My husband sent her 150.00 a month for her rent, and didn't work there or nothing. Now she is working here, not paying for bills, food, or the mortgage. Her money goes to all the phone cards she buys to talk to her boyfriend in Colombia, and she sends all her money to her BF and dad down there. I look at her bank statements and she has overdraft fees left and right. I really want her out of my home, so that I feel that I am a part of this family. Please help me....

...who don't SEE the difference between an 'ILLEGAL' immigrant, and one that's trying to do things the RIGHT way?

What would you do if YOU - or your son or your daughter - wanted to marry a foreigner and bring them into the country to start a family, and the rest of the US citizens started to INSULT them with the most horrible words just because of hatred???

"Hatred ever kills, love never dies. Such is the vast difference between the two. What is obtained by love is retained for all time. What is obtained by hatred proves a burden in reality for it increases hatred."

- Mohandas 'Mahatma' Gandhi -

The fact that people in the United States don't want illegal immigrants doesn't mean they have to HATE the rest of the world.

Hatred spawned by ignorance is just plain wrong.

And YES, I'm a US citizen, and your insults are inconsequential to me.

If we started deporting all illegal immigrants in this country, my primary fear is that there would be a insurrection of illegals and we would see things much worse than the LA riots. I'm concerned about what would happen to people who basically have nothing to lose. I think the better way to take care of things is to get rid of the ones who are causing trouble, stop employers from hiring illegals and punish them if they do, and get a government system where we can track all people so that fake documents do them no good anymore. Should we give the law abiding illegals a chance to become legit? Maybe, but only if they will learn English and pay into the system and some sort of penalty should be assessed to them for being illegals.

In the beginning of the U.S.A's history, immigrants could not wait to live here so they could share their beliefs, languages and cultures. Thats why it was named the "melting pot".
Nowadays, most immigrants move here wanting to keep to their own ways and dont want anyone telling them what to do yet they demand respect. Dont they realize a host country cant give respect w/o having some shown?

It is pretty clear in our immigration laws that you have to enter this country, whether it is permanently or for a vacation, in an authorized manner. At that time you will be issued either an immigrant visa which is for long term stays in this country, and can eventually lead to citizenship, or a non-immigrant visas which is used for tourists staying a short period.

I'm from Chicago, which is a Sanctuary City. Where Elvira Arellano was hide for a year in a church. I don't agree with Sanctuary city protect people who are broke the law to come to this country illegal. It even worse when they protect people like Jose Carranza who have 31 counts, one was alleged sexual assault of a child. Now changes shootings of four young college students, only one survived.

Some people agree with sanctuary cities because it protect illegal immigration from getting deport when they go to the police for help.

Some people like me agree that sanctuary cities is bad thing. I have a friend who is a police say that they can't tell ICE if they arrest illegal immigration. To me that break the law to cover up break the law.

So do Sanctuary Cities help or hurt? Please good facts and details.
