I'm a American male, i worked in Mexico almost 3 years married a Mexican girl been married 6.5 years now, been approved on all documents sent in to ICE, and they will be so nice to a point, the plan is to wait your marriage out until you give up and forget the whole thing, my dear I'm sorry to tell you that but my wife and i have been trying so long where both so sick of the bull and we fully understand people who come here illegal because that's the only choice they leave folks with, so when you hear bad things said here on answers its because those people simply don't know how it really is and will never know unless they deal with the broken American immigration system first hand, its easy for people to say unpleasant things but if it where them they would be very very mad at the service they too would get from the government, you are in for years and years of trouble girl and it never will end until you give up or move out of your own country, Mexico is not as bad as people say it is, in fact i see more happy people their than i have ever seen in the USA because life is about love of family their, so do what you must but be aware its all just a big game of time and waisted life span here.

i understand this is after the certainty yet, what you suggested as a non everlasting SS huge style is actual an ITIN that's issued by using the federal government, i'm particular by using now you recognize that and with a bit of luck by using this time you married him. Its a shame anybody is so ignorant to think of he's a felon and or lied to you. As i ought to component out to the guy who responded there is not any such factor instead identity huge style, is incorrect -there is any such factor! the techniques the guy and others gave you became an opinion as they are no longer legal experts. it truly is a shame how human beings supply opinion pointing out issues they are uncertain approximately. i'm a US born citizen and am counseled because of the fact I worked interior the sphere. lack of information is bliss. next time seek for suggestion from a legal professional and don't set your self up for hate of others. additionally to that guy or woman who suggested, those human beings take college room seats and jobs. what number prepared human beings slave working minimum paying jobs interior the fields? If something, you should thank those working interior the fields and interior the warmth for the nutrition they picked which finally ends up on your table. with regard to faculties, foreign places born scholars who're no longer legal pay VERY severe expenses to attend college and are not eligible for any sort of help. Get your info straight away and end hating on human beings. those human beings..... no remember if or no longer they are Europeans, Black, Latinos, Asians, White, etc from India, Vietnam, China, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, Africa, Canada, and so on - are make this usa flow around. like it or no longer, we are a melting pot and prefer it or no longer, no one is going away sooooo elect..... the two stay with it or flow away!

There are other states you can get married in. Wisconsin is one. I am guessing that Nevada would also be. You need to provide a copy of a birth certificate.....
I would be careful, though, also.. There are 2 separate ways of being "married" in Mexican culture. If you are married in the church it is considered by God, and, therefore, permanent. If you are being married by the "civil", it is only a court thing, and, divorce is recognized. The marriage is not considered "real". Please push him to marry in a church if you want to see if it is for you or for his status.
And, by the way, when you do get married, if he wants to apply to be here legally, he will have to go Back to Mexico for 10 years before he can come back.
Good luck!

Sorry if I sound ignorant, but I really didn't know they allowed mixed marriages down there. If you do marry him, this will not guarantee his legal residence.Make sure you hire an attorney right after the wedding so you can get his paperwork in order. He will have to go back to Mexico and wait for a visa to come back here.It usually takes a year but as slow as they move,it could actually take longer.

If you can't get married in Tennessee, go to Kentucky. It's right next door. They don't ask for SSN there. All you need is a picture ID.

Are you serious--don't do it, you're asking for trouble, American. No county in Tennessee is going to let you get married to an illegal--try Mexico (the country). If he says "sure let's get married in Mexico--in the church, then maybe, just maybe he loves you and not your citizenship.
PS--If you marry him, the marriage will not change his illegal status in the US.

All counties ask for that information in all states. Your best bet would be to go back to Mexico.
