That poor woman is victim of some very bad advice.
So now the priest gets some TV time and hopes he can rally enough support to reunite mother and child.
It's a different time from the Rosa Parks era.
Watch for this one to fade into the back pages.
It's sad because it's going to take more outrageous stunts to keep this story afloat.

Having immigration laws does not dehumanize a person. The laws restricting what non-whites could and could not do made those people less human in the eyes of the law. Immigration laws are part of national security and order. Every country has them. Why is it only the ones of the US that are expected to be ignored.

I agree she is a freak, but, it is 2007, and, really? Does it matter if she was married to the father of her child? That seems like a low-blow to me. Kind of like a cheap shot. I can't disagree with you on your other points, though....
