It's a sign of the times. The well being of the child does not matter to them. This is one of the reasons I have spent so much time and effort into helping people get INTO the coutry, as a slap in the face to the government and their laws. And for the record the word I would have chosen would have been "Barbaric".

It shouldn't be our problem it should be the Mexico government problem. They should let there people that were here in the states illegal bring there children that were born in the states back to there own damn country. If the parents were American or did it legally there would be no problem. They knew when they had the children what position the parents were putting the kids in. We should be angry with the parents not the US as a whole. If we started granting parents legal citizenship just because they have a baby in the states just imagine how many more would pour over here.
They are using there children as bait to stay in the states. This should be child abuse.

I think we all know it's more difficult and more expensive to sneak back into this country if you have children with you. Could that be why illegals deliberately leave them here? This isn't an American practice, it is a tactic of illegals. We don't buy that 'babies ripped from parents' excuse any more. It's as worn out as the race card.
There is a difference between the children not being obligated to leave and not being ALLOWED to leave. I think some people deliberately twist this to gain sympathy.

If the parent is an illegal immigrant then the parent should have thought of that before they decided to give birth in a country that they are not legally allowed to reside. What's inhumane is using your child as a pawn to try to bypass laws that everyone else has to follow.

No American children are being separated from their parents. Stop asking loaded slanted questions that imply anchor babies are Americans. They are not.
The parents could take them with them if they choose but they leave them here for us to spend money on until they are able to do the anchor function. I think any children left here should be tied to an anchor and thrown into the river.

Why is it when some illegals leave their children behind when they come illegally to the USA, that is acceptable behavior, but when we enforce our immigrating laws, and illegals leave their children behind that's not only our fault but somehow we are being cruel

Some people are not fit to be parents.Just like some people are not fit to own animals.
Children and animals need care and some people just can't handle it.It is better to take them out of a bad situation.

If their parents break the law, then it is the PARENTS fault.
If a person got arrested for breaking into a bank, then they are responsible for their actions...same goes for crossing international borders. When they are deported, no one is saying that their kids can't go with them.

What do you think of people that have children for anchors jepordizing this same children with seperation knowing that this is going to happen if deported for being in a foreign country illegally.

It was really hard for me when Momma went to jail for defrauding the government and tax evasion.
Somehow we survived.
Looking back- I am kind of mad at Momma for putting me in that mess- it's not like she didn't know what she was doing was illegal.
