Mexican-American, and this question does matter. Im asking because I needed to see the assumptions of you "Americans" and your ignorance toward Mexican people, whether they are illegals or legal shouldnt matter. You are all products of illegal ancestry so the message should be clear. Its a message to you racist idiots who believe American is white, it isnt. You are only contributing to a more racist America and violence among "Americans"

Did i forget to mention I am American of Mexican descent. . . So, I don't know if it's a good idea to put yourself out there like that because people could still bash you.

Nothing, I'm Salvadorian/white, stop caring what other people think and live your life.
I wish people would stop caring if hispanics are legal or not, it doesn't matter, I know so many people that are just here to support there familys and get through life.
Of course its different when criminals cross borders anywere, but I hate when people think your criminal just because you cross the border illegally. People need to stop being so prejudice, and judging because they don't know other peoples life stories and why they do what they do.

Oh and just to bag on you alittle, if your happy with you, just be you, don't call attention to the fact that your Mexican, your a person just like everyone else.

My ancestors came here LEGALLY, so your own ignorant assumption about me is incorrect.

Why is it wrong for Americans to make assumptions about illegal mexicans, but it's ok for you to make assumptions about Americans?

I have nothing against mexicans, unless they jumped over a border without permission, which makes them criminals.

If you came here legally, nothing! If you came here illegally then I have the same thing against you I do any other criminal. You are breaking laws I swore to uphold and that makes me really angry.
Also I grew up in a small NM town where the Anglos were outnumbered about 7 to 1 and when I asked out a Chicana girl in 11th grade her brothers(3) and 7 of their friends beat me bloody when I went to pick her up.

So are my cousins, nephews....

Yes I am White.....

Well I should make a distinction....My nephews and cousins are Mexican-American.

I have nothing against you UNLESS you are here illegally. Then you are breaking our laws and as such you should be found, detained, and deported.

BUT...If you are here legally then Welcome to America. I wish you a happy life here.

Nothing. Except:

1. Are you speaking Spanish all the time - if you are Stop insulting Americans.

2. If you came over the border illegally or were born here because your parents were illegal and still are, then I think your parents are the criminals.

3. Stop having this superior attitude to Americans - believe me I have had this happen to me more times than enough. They speak Spanish in front of you which from my country Ireland that is extremely rude especially in my company.

4. Learn English, it is the language of this country. I love the Spanish language. I learnt the real Spanish that they speak in spain.

5. I am not racist, I have an adopted child who is part S. American.

6. Stop trying to change Texas into Mexico. Fix Mexico. Stop trying to make our churches have masses in Spanish it makes us all mad when this happens and Church is not the place I should have to listen to another language. How would you feel if I spoke Irish in front of you or asked all the Irish IN America to speak Irish to you. I can guarantee you will get mad. Put yourself in our shoes. This goes for all foreigners in this country if you want to succeed and stop us getting angry at you SPEAK ENGLISH.
