When MOST people come here they don't know anything about the benefits they can get here , they really just come to make a better life. I think it is a bad spirited thing to say they are here taking the benefits when the point of welfare and education is to help people regardless of their status, just for the sake of they being people. I think it's time to realize that AMERICA is not the only country in the world and that there are countries and people that need help. We are fighting a war to "help liberate people" , when we have people here that need our help and all we do is kick them in the ***.. how ironic? dont you think?

Please if youre gonna answer things as "illegal is illegal" or "shoot them" save your time I don't care,

Again, I AGREE.

Also, people say that they come here to break the law. I doubt anyone who comes here illegally does that to intentionally break the law. They don't, there is another purpose, to work, to eat, to live a better life, not to break the law.

We don't have to let our nation be overwhelmed with immigrants to help them.

We say that Mexicans come here looking for handouts, because the Mexican government itself has offices all over Mexico that ENCOURAGE illegal crossings into the U.S., that hand out maps and supplies, and even instruct illegals how to apply for welfare once inside the U.S.

Mexicans protesting in the streets talk about creating an "Aztlan", they talk about "reconquista", taking back the American southwest.
We help these people by letting them come into our country to live, work and become fellow citizens, and they not only refuse to assimilate, they have a separatist nationalism that is openly anti-American.

If we continue to allow Mexican immigration at the current rate, of people who have a first loyalty to Mexico and a hostility toward the United States, then in the near future, we will see a situation similar to what the Vandals and the Visigoths did to Rome.

Anyone who doubts this can look at the angry demonstrations of Illegals nationwide across the U.S. under Mexican flags a year ago.
Or more tellingly, the riots in Los Angeles in 1992 (re: the Rodney King trial of 4 police officers who beat King). It's a lesser-known fact that the majority arrested in those riots were hispanic, not black.
In 1992 I didn't understand why so many hispanics were looting instead of blacks.

But now I know.
Mexicans have a grudge with the gringo. They have a notion that what's ours was stolen from them, and that they have a right to take it. By their indoctrinated propaganda, they are, "taking it back".

And we have naively tolerated Mexican ethnocentrism. But it is not benign chicano pride, it is a movement that is very hostile to the United States and its sovereignty.

And it hides under the friendly liberal facade of "people who just want to come here to work".

No it's not ironic. Most people who cross that border are not as stupid or innocent about what's waiting for them here as you might want to believe. They've been told about the various social & government benefits that they can get & they've been told how rough/tough their lives will be. However for them it's most likely way better than what they are facing in their current situation so to them it's a step up. Rules & laws do not matter to them since a vast part of the Mexican gov't is more corrupt than anything our gov't could ever be accused of being.

the fact is I have had to pay over 6,000 dollars to bring my fiance here legally. if they paid a coyote approx 2 grand why can't they pay a lawyer. the reason we have limits on how many we accept from one country in a given year is so our culture doesn't change. no immigration group in our history came here to change our culture. they came and wanted to blend in our culture. i am sick of hearing press 1 for english. if they want to become americans, we welcome them. get in line behind my fiance.
what makes mexicans more special than the starving in africa. if they could just come when they want, the africans would already be here. 7 billion people would be americans for that matter. we have laws. you know what happens if a mexican gets pulled over? nothing, no ID, no nothing. he is allowed to continue. they don't pay speeding tickets, don't pay taxes. don't even exist to our gov't. average mexican has a 4th grade education. what do we need with people who can't read and write their own language, much less ours.
as far as the argument of having full employment. ok great,
WHAT HAPPENS IN 3 YEARS WHEN WE DON'T have full employment and americans are getting laid off because they can hire twice as many mexican hands on the job(we used to have high school kids work in summer time. those days are gone)

I work in construction and i can tell you there won't be any wage increases for construction workers anytime soon because my boss' competition hires mexicans. how can my boss give me a raise when he has to drop his prices to compete. most people don't care about quality of work, otherwise it would not even be an issue. mexicans simply aren't skilled. they only take young americans and elderly americans who need those 20 hours a week to survive jobs
by the way, just so you know, i was against
O peration
I raqi
L iberation
aren't you?
well, 70% of the country is against OIL.
so, two wrongs don't make a right.

what is it that is so hard to understand they break our laws every day they are here and drive on tax funded roads, drive rental houses higher, driving everything higher, everything. they consume, therefore demand is higher. higher prices are the result. we benefit nothing from them. we have high school kids and semi retired folks who are out of work now because of them. NO KIDS WORK IN CONSTRUCTION ANYMORE. they take americans' jobs.
there are millions of reasons. i could go on forever. simple fact is it is wrong for them to be here. period
BESIDES EVERYTHING ELSE. THIS IS AMERICA. WHERE MAJORITY RULES. 89% feel the same way i do. time for them to respect our lands and laws or suffer the consequences.

America should take care of their own and their own only. **** everyone else. Do you think if we illegally crossed into Mexico they'd give us anything for free?

Why are you talking about these people like they are regular immigrants?? They aren't...people that first come to this country who are in need are welcome to benefits. Not ILLEGAL immigrants.

Illegal is illegal. We treat legal immigrants fairly in the US. Illegals are criminals. They broke US law. They should be deported when found.
