Im going away for 3 days. I feed my 7 turtles twice a day, once in the morinin n once in the evening with turtles food sticks. they are rather used to this routine for a few years. I couldn't get a nanny for them (which all my friends claim im being redudant), and i have no idea wat to do. I will feed them in the morning before i left on a friday, and i will be back sunday night. Should i take the risk of letting them go without food? or rather, can i do that?

We have a dragon, he is our first and only Berdie Child. Ozzy is a year old. This last week he started loosing the very end of his tail, and then his foot turned blue along with some of his tail. We doctored his tail and it appears to be fine again. We did alot of research before we got him on how to care for him. However we have not seen anywhere a drangon change blue, is this normal? And if it is how much color is he going to get. He seems very healthy and active, and eats very well. Why is out Berdie blue?

I would like to know Bearded Dragons are from Australia, now tell me where do they get salads or crickets or even waxworms and superworms, or mealworms from in the desert, there they eat anything and everything, but you don't find the foods that we give the dragons in the desert, why oh why cant we just feed them insects like they live on in Australia, and you also don't find powdered calcium and how will they know if they do get some greens there if it is calcium rich or not, I mean sure give your beardie the best but why go to all the hassle if they don't get these things in the wild, who came up witht the idea ahhh!!!!!!!! crickets will do the job and this is not good for them and that they will thrive on in a climate that is similar to Australia

I bought this animal from a flea market. I really want to take care of it and provide the appropriate habitate. It has a heat lamp, I put it outside for uv light, has water and I have been grinding up mixtures of sweet potato, bread, onion, greens, grapes and jumenile iguana food. I made a liquid out of the iguana food and using a syringe feed the iguana.

I have a 10 ft red-tailed boa and i need to get a check up because i bought her from someone that i doubt took good care of her. The only problem is i have no idea where to go to make sure she is okay. I would like to know if there is anything wrong with her, even though i doubt there is; I always like to make sure.

I was give a banded gecko and a leopard gecko, a skunk gecko, and a golden gecko by a friend who no longer wanted them. They were all kept in the same aquarium. Should I leave them in the same aquarium or seperate them?

alrighty here is my situation.. forgive me if the details become tedious.my father and i were going to get a lizard of some sort (water dragon or bearded) but we were going to build a cage for it becuase the extra one i had wasnt big enough. But since that was decided about two months ago he hasnt mentioned it on his own at all, so i was thinking that a nice sized boa would fit in the extra tank i have..and plus i have a heat rock for a snake... but i dont really want my parents to think i completley moved on from my lizard stage and changed my mind so easily...heres what i look for in a pet....

i dont mind feeding it live rats and such (its kinda cool acctually) i want to be able to carry it around to go shopping and to pick up a smoothie and go to the beach and things like that..... i would want to be able to sit on the couch or computer with it on my lap or shoulder and watch a movie ect.... i dont want it to be nocturnal becuase i train my animals to sleep in the bed with me.

I have a red tail boa in a large enclosure 5ft x 4ft x 2ft. I keep it bewteen 90-100 degrees farenheit during the day and let it drop to 85 at night. The trouble is the humidity was to low and spraying didnt seem to work since the wood would just soak it all up. I went to the store and bought a cool mist humidifier and it seems to work well, but I am wondering if the vibrations or noise from the motor will stress the boa? it's not terribly loud but it does make some noise as the fan runs etc... any suggestions?

I think my hermit crab just died a cple. days ago. I thought it was changing its shell cause it came out but it hasn't moved and some sites say that hermit crabs dont move when there changing shells. It looks like its just sleeping cuase it has normal color and it doesn't smell even though it hasnt moved in a couple of days.
And i dont want to touch it cause sites say that there very senstive at this point. But i dont want to like get rid of it in case it is still alive. I sprayed it with water and it didn't move. And it looks like it standing getting ready to move but it jsut doesnt move. Youd think if a hermit crab was dead it would be on its side and its feet would be curled up tightly but its not!

Plz. Help!!!
