can a leopard gecko eat veggies or fruits?

No, they cannot digest them and they can cause intestinal upsets. I would stick with crickets, mealworms, waxworms, and superworms (if your leo is full grown, also called giant mealworms).

Leos are insectivores - meaning they need insects. They don't have any interest in fruit or veggies (unless a bug is sitting on it).

Very few lizards have adapted to a plant-only diet. most are carnivores (including insectivores) or omnivores (they eat both plants and animals).
