These tadpoles are just barely hatched and the tadpole food looks bigger than they are. What is the best thing to feed them?

I want to help you but I don't know the answer. I am jealous though. I ordered tadpoles in the mail last year and by the time they got to my house they were dead. I was so sad. I am happy that you get to have tadpoles that are living :) Good Luck with them and enjoy them!! I LOVE FROGS

Algae is their natural food. You can also use a leaf of lettuce (it should be a leafy lettuce, not iceberg, or head lettuce) that's been boiled a few minutes or frozen to break down the cell wall. Don't use spinach. Some fish pellets also have a high amount of algae.

nothing. tadpoles don't really eat. their tails contain nutrition for them, and as they grow, they digest their tails.. if you want, algee is a good food for when they develope mouths
