I don't know that you can get as fancy as getting them to roll over but I know I had goldfish that I trained to go through a hoop when I blew a whistle. It took a long time but I started by blowing a whistle every time right before I fed them. After a while I noticed that when I blew the whistle they would come up to the surface to eat. I then made a small hoop and put it in the water. I tilted it so to get to the surface they had to swim through the hoop first I then blew the whistle and fed them after a while, when I put the hoop in the water they would swim through even if it was vertical and in a different part of the tank that I fed them, they associated the hoop and whistle with food so would swim through. I amazed a lot of people including my science teacher who had me write up how I did it and how long each step took and hand it in as a project....I got an A+ since she said she would never have believed it was possible to teach a fish a trick. I also have a best friend who had ferrets that she taught, sit, lay, roll over, come and fetch and her ferrets(when they were still alive have been on many shows and even in a movie) she also has dogs that are in a show in TN called the comedy barn and have been in numerous commercials.
I personally have not tried it with our beardies but I would think if a fish can swim through a hoop at the sound of a whistle then it would definately be possible to teach a beardie some simple tricks.
good luck and let us know if you are successfull.

It is possible to teach them things such as to lay on thier backs and play dead(but you have to put them on thier backs. The trick is getting them to stay that way,) and I've also tuaght my lizard to come to me. You can also teach them them habits. Like when I first got my dragon I had a special towel I always had her sit on while I was in the shower. Now I just have to put the towel down and she crawl up on it and won't go anywhere else. As for arm waving and head bobbing, it is'nt atrick, they just do it on thier own. And you can't teach them to do it on command that I know of. So what I'm saying is that yes, it is possible to train your lizard, but it takes an extremely large amount of time and patience before they understand, if they ever do at all. Also, I'f your dragons real old you probably won't be able to teach it anything. It's best to start training it before its more than a year or two old.

I'm not sure if this is learned behaviour but bearded dragons wave, dance etc on their own, it is quite natural behaviour. I've had beardy's for a few years now, and Im not so sure about learning tricks but they do get into habits and repeated behaviour at times like when I walk in the room, feed them, take them out to play etc.
They can be a little bit like puppies so I guess you could try.

I'm not sure. I have a beardie and I think it would be fun to teach tricks. The only thing I would say is don't do anything that means having the beardie on it's back. They can't breathe if they're on their back. But if you find any good tricks, let us know!

One of my friends has a bearded dragon and he doesn't move much. There's a slight chance they can dance. And rollover is for dogs. I wouldn't be so suprised if they waved though because that's not so hard.

Arm Waveing and head bobbing are natural behaviors.

As far as learning any "tricks" I dont think it's possible, they arent going to jump on command or something like that.

Have you ever seen the Disney movie "Holes"? The lizards in that movie are beaded dragons, they just painted them. They trained those dragons. I dont know how thought.
